The 7-1 Indianapolis Colts just keep rolling and now face a reeling defense on Sunday, November 2, when they travel to take on the 4-3 Pittsburgh Steelers.

My early Colts vs. Steelers predictions and NFL picks expect Indy's offense to continue its domination against a Pittsburgh stop unit not scaring anyone.

Colts vs Steelers predictions

Here are our early thoughts on the spread and total for this week’s game. We will have a full game preview (with a best bet and SGP) later in the week.

Early Colts vs Steelers spread pick: Colts -3

-115 at FanDuel

Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor are just absolutely wrecking opposing defenses this season, and they did it again last week in a 38-14 win over the Tennessee Titans.

The Indianapolis Colts have now scored more than 30 points in four straight and in six of their eight games total. The Pittsburgh Steelers have some great players on their defense, but the unit as a whole has struggled this season — ranking 22nd in points allowed and 30th in total yards allowed.

The Steelers have allowed more than 30 points four times this season, including 33 points to the Cincinnati Bengals and 35 to the Green Bay Packers. The Colts will take advantage of their poor pass defense with a quick-passing game.

The Colts' offense ranks third in the NFL in quick passing and first in short passing, while Pittsburgh's defense ranks 30th and 24th in those categories, respectively. You do the math.

Early Colts vs Steelers total pick: Over 49.5

As good as the Colts' offense is, the defense does rank 24th in the NFL in total yards allowed. The Steelers and Aaron Rodgers are going to be able to move the ball and help contribute to this Over.

Despite giving up a ton of points this season, Pittsburgh ranks 12th in scoring and has scored 23 or more points in each of the last four games.

Indy's secondary is banged up and ranks 27th in the league in defending deep passes. Rodgers has shown his arm strength is still there and will be able to find guys like DK Metcalf and Calvin Austin on deep passes.

I don't believe the Steelers will score enough to keep pace with the Colts, but they'll score enough to hit the Over for the sixth time in eight games.
