The Seattle Seahawks look like the best two-way team in football, riding a three-game winning streak in Sunday’s home stand against the Arizona Cardinals.

Seattle is part of the log jam atop the NFC West — looking for separation in this matchup with Arizona — and my early Cardinals vs. Seahawks predictions think it'll do just that.

Here are my early NFL picks for November 9.

Cardinals vs Seahawks predictions

Here are our early thoughts on the spread and total for this week’s game. We will have a full game preview (with a best bet and SGP) later in the week.

Early Cardinals vs Seahawks spread pick: Seahawks -6.5

-115 at FanDuel

This look-ahead line was at Seattle Seahawks -7 before the Arizona Cardinals crushed the Cowboys on Monday night. The official opening line hit the board at Seahawks -6.5.

Seattle flexed its two-way muscle with a big road win on Sunday night. The Seahawks dumped Washington 38-14, with the defense remaining the anchor of this club.

Heading into Week 10, Seattle sits Top 10 in many advanced measurements and has allowed more than 20 points just once in eight games.

The Cards may have a QB problem with starter Kyler Murray making strides in his return under center. Murray may be back at QB for Week 10, replacing Jacoby Brissett. The veteran backup has been exceptional in his three starts, currently sitting No. 7 in CPOE.

Regardless of who is at QB, the Cardinals find themselves on the road for the second straight game on a short week after playing at Dallas on Monday. With this spread below the key number of a touchdown, I’m leaning Seattle -6.5.

Early Cardinals vs Seahawks total pick: Under 44.5

-110 at FanDuel

This total opened as high as 45.5 but dropped to 44.5 points — just above the key Over/Under number. These divisional rivals met in Glendale back in Week 4, with Seattle winning 23-20, just staying Under the closing 44-point total.

The Seahawks defense is getting healthier after injuries plagued this secondary earlier in the schedule, and the defensive line is the beating heart of this stop unit.

They’re getting tremendous pressure on rival passers with just a four-man rush, sitting fourth in pressure rate and third in sacks (27).

Brissett suffered five sacks in the win over Dallas and has been sacked 13 times in his three starts. Arizona ranks 25th in pass block rating at PFF and has allowed Brissett to feel pressure on 35% of dropbacks.

The Cardinals' defense did a solid job slowing down Sam Darnold and the Seahawks' passing game in Week 4, giving up 242 yards on 18-for-26 passing.

Arizona is a mid-tier passing defense, but it has had success keeping opponents in front of them in zone coverage, allowing just 22 completions of 20+ yards.

Darnold has seen a drop-off in production vs. zone schemes and has struggled against zone defenses throughout his career, with some larger discrepancies in stat splits as a starter the last two years.

The extended forecast for Lumen Field calls for rain, at least in the second half of this 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. That could slow things down, especially for the Cardinals.
