Broncos vs Texans prediction

Broncos vs Texans Best bet: Bo Nix Over 205.5 passing yards (-114)

Bo Nix is having a wonderful second year in the NFL. The quarterback has led the Denver Broncos to a 6-2 record, completing 62.8% of his passes for 1,803 yards and 15 touchdowns against five interceptions. He has Denver looking like a legitimate contender in the AFC.

The former Oregon standout his coming off a mammoth performance against the Dallas Cowboys. Nix threw for 247 yards and completed 19 of 29 passes for four touchdowns. In fact, he’s cashed the Over in passing yards in three of his last four contests, finishing with no fewer than 242 yards through the air.

While the Houston Texans do have a strong defense, allowing the fourth-fewest passing yards in the NFL, I can’t ignore Nix’s hot streak right now. He has this offense rolling, and I do think he will keep that going on Sunday.

Broncos vs Texans same-game parlay

Courtland Sutton has been Nix’s top weapon. The wide-out has reeled in 37 receptions for 538 yards this season.

While his catch numbers aren’t huge in recent weeks, he’s making up for it with his yards per reception (14.5). Sutton has hit the Over in receiving yards in back-to-back games, posting 67 yards in Week 8, and 87 yards the week before.

CJ Stroud is coming alive after a slow start to the campaign. He’s throwing for more yards and, most importantly for this pick, the quarterback is finding the end zone. Stroud has cashed the Over in passing TDs in three of his previous four outings.

That includes four touchdowns against the Ravens on October 5.

Our big-ticket SGP: Denver gets it done
