Is it just me, or does it feel like the Kansas City Chiefs have to take on a heavy-hitter every week?

Week 6 is no different, as the Detroit Lions and the highest-scoring offense come to town for Sunday Night Football.

KC is going to have no choice in the matter: they'll have to put up points or get blown out of the water.

Read below for my Lions vs. Chiefs anytime touchdown picks for Sunday, October 12.

Xavier Worthy anytime touchdown (+145 at FanDuel)

Turns out, all of the Chiefs' offensive woes weren't all solved with their win over the Giants.

And while they looked impressive at times in the 31-28 loss to Jacksonville, Patrick Mahomes and company appear to be a work in progress, and will be well into the year, as Rashee Rice makes his way back this week and gets oriented into the program.

For now, we'll go with the guy that's helped unlock that morbid dump-off or Mahomes run sandlot offense, Xavier Worthy.

He's yet to find the end zone since coming back from injury, but he's been a key figure, pulling down 11 catches and averaging 11.4 yards a grab in the last two games.

The Lions are second in the NFL in sacks, so Mahomes might be under siege, but if his line can find him some time, Detroit has been hit with 16 pass plays of 20+ yards and allowed 10 TD passes.

Look for Worthy to get behind the defense for a major in this one.

Lions anytime touchdown pick

Jahmyr Gibbs anytime touchdown (-165 at FanDuel)

Detroit Lions dynamic running back Jahmyr Gibbs has only been kept out of the endzone in Week 1, as the Lions were adjusting to life without Ben Johnson and taking on a pretty good Packers' team.

Since then, Gibbs has been his electric self, with four rushing TDs and last week's catch and run from 20 yards out, his first receiving grab of the year.

He's only faced the Kansas City Chiefs one time, as a rookie in Week 1 – his first NFL game. While he didn't score there, he's been a scoring machine, with 30 TDs in 37 games.

KC is giving up a healthy 4.8 yards per carry (bottom 6) and six rushing scores on the season.

Gibbs has scored at least one touchdown in each of the Lions' last six games against AFC opponents. Book another reservation for six for Gibbs in the KC endzone.
