The San Francisco 49ers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are each dealing with injuries to key personnel, greatly impacting the anytime touchdown odds for this Week 6 game.

However, I've combed through the available players to find the two best NFL picks on the board.

Check out my 49ers vs. Buccaneers anytime touchdown picks for Sunday, October 12.

49ers anytime touchdown pick

Kendrick Bourne (+170 at FanDuel)

Kendrick Bourne's second go-around with the San Francisco 49ers started slow but quickly picked up steam in Week 5.

Bourne was Mac Jones' go-to target vs. the Los Angeles Rams last Thursday, hauling in 10 of 11 targets for 142 yards. None of those grabs resulted in a touchdown, but he's eligible for a score based on volume alone vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

The 49ers continue to have a lengthy injury report, as wide-outs Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall are both considered questionable for this game. Jennings was limited in practice on Thursday, while Pearsall was held out completely.

Bourne should continue to be the beneficiary of these injuries and get plenty of looks from either Brock Purdy or Jones in Week 6. The Bucs' pass defense is ripe for the picking, too, tied for ninth-worst with 10 touchdowns allowed through the air this season.

Buccaneers anytime touchdown pick

Emeka Egbuka (+100 at FanDuel)

The Buccaneers found themselves a stud in WR Emeka Egbuka when they drafted him 19th overall last April.

The Rookie of the Year odds frontrunner had a career-high 163 yards with a touchdown on a perfect 7-for-7 receiving vs. the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday. It was his second 100-yard performance through five weeks, and his fourth game with at least one touchdown.

With both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin ruled out, coupled with RB Bucky Irving's "doubtful" status, Egbuka's value in the Bucs offense becomes clear.

The 49ers bring the stronger pass defense into this contest, but it's far from impenetrable. This unit ranks 22nd in opponent passer rating.
