The Kennesaw State Owls are heavily favored when they host the UTEP Miners in an important Tuesday night C-USA clash.

The Owls are riding a five-game winning streak, and my UTEP vs. Kennesaw State predictions expect them to win this game by a comfortable margin.

UTEP vs Kennesaw State prediction

UTEP vs Kennesaw State best bet: Kennesaw State -9.5 (-110)

The Kennesaw State Owls have settled in with quarterback Amari Odom leading an offense that’s been firing on all cylinders.

Odom’s dual-threat ability has added a new dimension to the Owls’ attack, and if he can’t go Tuesday night, they won't miss a beat with reserve dual-threat quarterback Dexter Williams under center.

The Owls’ offensive line has protected well, and the team’s offensive balance has allowed it to score at least 27 points in four of its last five games.

Defensively, Kennesaw has the edge in the trenches and should control field position throughout the game, as it's allowed fewer than 21 points in four of five.

The UTEP Miners have been mistake-prone, turning the ball over 15 times this season.

They also have an extremely low 31% third-down conversion rate that hasn’t gotten any better with newly appointed starter Skyler Locklear under center.

That’s a tough assignment for a unit averaging under 20 points per game to cover the spread, and that's why I’m rolling with Kennesaw State.

UTEP vs Kennesaw State same-game parlay

UTEP’s defense allows conversions on just 25% of third downs and has held five of seven opponents Under 31 points. Kennesaw State’s defense is similarly tough, and both teams prefer a slower, grind-it-out style.

Expect long drives, stalled possessions, and a low-scoring C-USA matchup that favors the Under.
