CFB Week 13 preview with Andrew Caley and Douglas Farmer

Pittsburgh vs Georgia Tech best bet

Ja'Kyrian Turner Over 51.5 rushing yards (-105 at FanDuel)

Syracuse, North Carolina State, and Boston College are all wretched offenses, yet they combined for 600 sack-adjusted rushing yards against Georgia Tech over their last three games. While Pittsburgh prefers to throw the ball, if ever there was a time to lean into the ground game, it is now — and that should come via Turner, as veteran Desmond Reid battles injuries.

Tennessee vs Florida best bet

Joey Aguilar Over 272.5 passing yards (-114 at FanDuel)

Aguilar is averaging 294.1 passing yards per game, and his passing yards prop is a number he’s eclipsed in five of his last nine games. He has also proven he can put up big numbers against strong defensive teams, throwing for 300+ yards in games against Georgia and Oklahoma.

California vs Stanford best bet

California -3.5 (-106 at FanDuel)

Stanford's offense ranks 102nd in EPA per play and 125th in success rate, with the defense nearly as bad, sitting 93rd in defensive success rate on dropbacks and 92nd on EPA per pass. It’s hard to see why Cal is favored by just 3.5 points in this matchup.

Illinois vs Wisconsin best bet

Wisconsin team total Under 16.5 (-118 at FanDuel)

Illinois’s defense is weakest against the pass, ranking No. 130 in passing success rate against. Great news: The Badgers have one of the 20 worst passing offenses in the country... in every regard.

North Texas vs Rice best bet

Over 55 (-115 at FanDuel)

North Texas has the No. 1 scoring offense in the country, and it has a lot of motivation to win with a lot of points — and win by a large margin.

BYU vs Cincinnati best bet

BYU moneyline (-138 at FanDuel)

The Cougars’ biggest strength is their physical run game, which matches up perfectly against a Cincinnati defense allowing 158 rushing yards per game and over 4.0 yards per carry. BYU’s efficiency on early downs and solid passing offense consistently move the chains, which will keep Cincinnati’s defense on its heels and should open up play-action opportunities for quarterback Bear Bachmeier.
