It's tough to pick a side in this game with the SMU Mustangs best player Boopie Miller (20.6 ppg, 7.1 apg, 2.0 spg) questionable. So let's take him out of the equation for our best bet.
When healthy, SMU has an excellent starting lineup, but the weak link is forward Corey Washington.
Washington isn't a bad player, but at 6-foot-6 and 190 pounds, he's woefully undersized for the forward position. He'll have the unenviable task of defending Duke Blue Devils freshman Cameron Boozer, who checks in at 6-foot-9 and 250 pounds.
The Wooden Award favorite isn't just a big body, as he's also extremely skilled and agile. He averages 23.3 ppg on 58% shooting and will get plenty of shots in this game with both teams preferring a speedy tempo.
Boozer has dropped 25+ points in six of his last nine games and should be able to bully SMU inside today.

I'm expecting Boozer to score at will so I don't see him deferring as much to his teammates. He's gone below 4.5 assists in seven of his last 10 games.
Duke is 10th in the country in adjusted defense and that lockdown D makes the Under 159 a strong possibility even if Miller suits up.
If the Mustangs top scorer and passer doesn't play, this becomes an easy play.
