My college hoops moneyline parlay for Saturday, February 28 is backing a trio of ranked teams against struggling opponents.
My college basketball picks are betting on Louisville and BYU as short road favorites, while also taking North Carolina to get the job done at home.

Louisville Cardinals vs
Clemson Tigers
Time: 2:00 p.m. ET
Location: Clemson, SC
TV: ESPN2
Pick: Louisville (-125)
The Louisville Cardinals are 3-6 on the road and haven't won at Littlejohn Coliseum since joining the ACC, but this is a good spot to right both of those wrongs.
The strength of the Clemson Tigers has been defense but they've regressed in that area, ranking 346th in the country in opponent eFG% (60%) over their recent four-game losing streak. That skid includes two defeats at home against teams outside the Top 50 on KenPom.
The Cardinals check in at No. 18 on KenPom and are in a bounce-back spot after losing a close game at North Carolina. They rank 21st in the country in eFG% (56.6%) and Clemson doesn't have the firepower to keep up.
BYU Cougars vs
West Virginia Mountaineers
Time: 5:30 p.m. ET
Location: Morgantown, WV
TV: FOX
Pick: BYU (-125)
The No. 19 BYU Cougars have dropped 79+ points in three of four games since losing Richie Saunders and his 18.0 ppg to a season-ending injury. Freshman superstar AJ Dybantsa has taken his game to another level, averaging 29.7 ppg on 51/43/76 shooting splits over the last 10 contests.
The West Virginia Mountaineers play hard-nosed defense but struggle to defend the arc and don't have the rim protectors to impede Dybantsa when he attacks the basket. And WVU's offense has been ugly, being held to less than 65 points in seven of its last nine games while going 3-6 in that span.
Virginia Tech Hokies vs
North Carolina Tar Heels
Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
Location: Chapel Hill, NC
TV: ESPN2
Pick: North Carolina (-280)
The North Carolina Tar Heels have been playing without their own injured star in Caleb Wilson. However, they got back center Henri Veesar after a two-game absence to pick up back-to-back wins against Syracuse and Louisville.
Even without Wilson, this is a strong Tar Heels squad that has size, balance, and experience. They've also gone a perfect 16-0 in Chapel Hill and have beaten the Virginia Tech Hokies the last 12 times these ACC foes have clashed in North Carolina.
The Hokies are 6-8 since the start of the New Year and have won just twice as underdogs during that span.
