Thunder vs Warriors best bet: Moses Moody Over 11.5 Points (-120)
There’s no denying that what the Oklahoma City Thunder is doing is impressive. They are on pace to take down the Golden State Warriors’ record 73-win season. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is still playing at an MVP level on one of the deepest teams in the NBA, which leads the Association in defensive rating.
That said, they may be getting a little complacent. At least in the eyes of oddsmakers. OKC has been a double-digit favorite in eight consecutive games, but is only 2-6 against the spread in those games.
So, while I expect the Thunder to win again on Tuesday night as 12-point favorites against the Golden State Warriors, I think there is an opportunity for the Warriors to put up a bit of a fight.
While Golden State will be without Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler is expected to be back for this one, and what that should do is open things up for some other Warriors players, and my money is on Moses Moody.
Moody has kind of been all-or-nothing for the Warriors this season, but is averaging 12.2 points per game while shooting nearly 40% from 3-point range. His point total for this matchup is sitting at 11.5.
There are a few reasons besides the return of Butler that I like the Over here. One thing OKC could be better at is cleaning the glass. The Thunder rank 16th in rebounding rate. The other is that both teams rank in the top half of the NBA when it comes to pace of play.
So, basically, if the Warriors have added possessions in this game, that means more opportunities for Moody to eclipse this modest number, even against a good defensive team like the Thunder.

Those points about Moody points come into play for this SGP. The Warriors need to fight on the glass to at least keep this one close. So let's add Jonathan Kuminga Over 4.5 rebounds. He averages 6.2 rebounds per game and has had five or more rebounds in 11 of 13 games prior to his injury.
Then let’s go to the Thunder and add Chet Holmgren Over 1.5 assists. Holmgren averages 1.7 assists per game this season and has topped 1.5 assists in 10 of his 17 games played. Those added possessions and the plus money value make this a great addition to this SGP.
