Cameron Young and Brooks Koepka are positioned for strong showings on Friday.

The 2026 PGA Championship is wide open after no one pulled away from the pack in Round 1.

Defending champion Scottie Scheffler is right in the mix and remains the betting favorite in the PGA Championship odds.

Here are my top golf picks ahead of Round 2 at Aronimink Golf Club on Friday, May 15.

Best PGA Championship Round 2 predictions

Golfer Pick Kalshi
Cameron Young Top 10: Yes 34¢
+207
Brooks Koepka Top 20: Yes 48¢
+101
Justin Thomas Top 20: No 46¢
+109

Cameron Young Top 10: Yes (+207/34¢)

Starting in the morning wave will allow Cameron Young to springboard up the leaderboard after posting a middling Round 1 score.

Young finished with -0.90 true strokes gained on approach to rank 117 in the field. He averaged +1.04 strokes per round in the metric across his previous seven events, so I’m expecting a ball-striking rebound the rest of the way.

Brooks Koepka Top 20: Yes (+101/48¢)

There’s no way Brooks Koepka can lose -2.00 true strokes putting and rank 138 in the field again this week. He hit nine of 14 fairways and 15 of 18 greens in regulation to rank third in true strokes gained tee-to-green, and the three-time PGA Champion looks in complete control of his ball-striking.

I fully expect more putts to fall for Koepka over the next three days.

Justin Thomas Top 20: No (+109/46¢)

I expect the challenges Aronimink presents to catch up to Justin Thomas over the weekend. He's more name than game in 2026, with just a single Top 10 this season, and he's also failed to card a single Top 25 across his past 15 majors dating back to his 2023 PGA Championship win.

Thomas also putted the lights out to rank 12th in true strokes gained on the greens. Considering he entered the event ranked 97th in the field in the metric, I’m expecting statistical correction to rear its head over the rest of the week.
