Two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference collide on Sunday when the New York Knicks host the Toronto Raptors.

Both have been elite defensively to start the season, which is why I believe in a low-scoring game in my Raptors vs. Knicks predictions and NBA picks for Sunday, November 30.

Raptors vs Knicks prediction

Raptors vs Knicks best bet: Under 232.5 (-110)

The Toronto Raptors have been perhaps the biggest surprise of the NBA season so far, as they sit atop the Eastern Conference standings after just over a month. They’ll face a tough test tonight when they take on the second-place New York Knicks.

Both sides have relied on stout defensive play in the early season, and I think that trend continues tonight.

The Raptors rank fourth in opponent points per game at 112.8, first in opponent 3-point percentage (31.8%), and fourth in opponent field goals made (39.6).

The Knicks don’t trail far behind, ranking tied for seventh in opponent ppg (114) and second in field goals allowed (85.1).

Toronto has cashed the Under in four straight and six of its last seven, while New York has done so in three straight and five of six.

It also helps that Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns has been ice cold over his last two games, with just 28 combined points on 8-for-21 shooting from the field.

Expect a defensive grind at MSG tonight.

Raptors vs Knicks same-game parlay

It’s been an up-and-down season for KAT so far, who’s scored Under 23.5 points in six of his last nine games and 12 of 18 contests overall. Points won’t come easy for him against the Raptors tonight.

Brandon Ingram has been Toronto’s primary scorer, but he’s contributed in other ways, too. Ingram has over 5.5 rebounds in five straight games, and he’ll need to grab his fair share in what should be a scrappy matchup.
