Tonight we're checking in on the bumbling Boston Celtics, who look more qualified to clean actual windows than clean up the glass this season, while Ja Morant continues his MVP-like start to the season as the Memphis Grizzlies host the Denver Nuggets for the second straight game.

Check out our NBA prop picks for Wednesday, November 3, as we bank on some of the NBA's best to do their thing.

After three straight seasons of 22 wins or less, a 4-4 record constitutes a solid start for the Cleveland Cavaliers. This Cavs team is young and shows flashes of potential — part of that young core includes power forward Lauri Markkanen.

The Finnisher got a fresh start with the Cavs and has been a solid contributor on a team where he won’t need to shoulder the load. Markkanen is averaging 12.9 points and 5.9 rebounds in eight games and he has gotten more comfortable from the field as the season has gone on.

Markkanen is 7 for 20 (35%) from 3-point range over the last three games, attempting 6.7 shots per game from beyond the arc over that span. Tonight, he will face a Portland Trail Blazers team that has struggled to defend the perimeter this season. Portland gives up the sixth-most 3-point attempts per game at 40.3 per contest and ranks 25th in opponent 3-point percentage, allowing opponents to shoot 37.2 percent from deep.

Additionally, the Blazers don’t match up well against a stretch-four like Markkanen, so The Finnisher should get plenty of opportunities to go Over his made 3-point total in this one.

Pick: Lauri Markkanen Over 2.5 made threes (+105 at DraftKings)

There has been a boatload of issues during the Boston Celtics’ disastrous 2-5 start but one of the most glaring has been their performance on the boards.

The Celtics are one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA, ranking 29th in rebounding percentage and opponent rebounds per game, and is coming off a loss to the Bulls on Monday where they didn’t pull down one defensive rebound in the fourth quarter.

Boston will try to snap a three-game losing streak when it visits the Orlando Magic tonight. While the Magic are also struggling at 2-6 there is one thing they are good at — rebounding. With long, athletic guys like Wendell Carter Jr., Mo Bamba, and Franz Wagner, Orlando ranks 13th in rebounding percentage.

For tonight’s matchup, we’ll focus on Carter. The Magic big man is hauling down 9.9 rebounds per game this season but has a rebounding Over/Under of just 8.5 for this matchup, a number he has gone Over six times in his last seven games. Bet on Carter to take advantage of the mismatch versus the C’s and clean up the glass in this one.

Pick: Wendell Carter Jr. Over 8.5 rebounds (-110 at FanDuel)

Ja Morant is taking his game to the next level this season. The Memphis Grizzlies star point guard looks like an early frontrunner for MVP, averaging 28.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.7 steals per game this season. All career highs.

He takes over the game without giving the feeling that he’s a selfish player: He drives, he dishes, he creates opportunities for his teammates and the early results have been ridiculous.

Now, Morant and the Grizz will play the Denver Nuggets for the second consecutive game and he has a points + assists Over/Under of 32.5. In Monday’s matchup, in which the Grizzlies won 106-97 as 1.5-point favorites, Morant (not shockingly) led the way with 26 points and eight assists — the fifth time in seven games in which Morant went Over this number.

While Denver is a strong defensive team, it has struggled to contain opposing point guards. Bet on Morant to stay hot and go Over his points + assists total once again.

Pick: Ja Morant Over 32.5 points + assists (-115 at FanDuel)
