Betting trend to know

Against the spread (ATS) pick
These teams met up less than a month ago, with the Knicks winning 133-129 in an overtime thriller. That was actually the start of New York's outstanding run with the Knicks winning 11 of their last 12 games and going a sizzling 14-1 ATS in their previous 15 contests.
The Grizzlies are coming off a loss to the Orlando Magic and are 1-3 SU and ATS in their last four games. They have hit a snag at the worst possible time as they look to at least secure home-court advantage for the play-in round and sit eighth in the Western Conference, just one game ahead of 10th-place San Antonio.
Memphis is a respectable ninth in the NBA in defensive rating but is just 16th in offensive rating and has looked particularly poor on that end of the floor lately.
The Grizzlies are averaging just 102 points per game on 40.9 percent shooting over their last four games. That's bad news as they take on a Knicks defense that allows the fewest points per game (104.6) and lowest opponent shooting percentage (44.3) in the league.
The Knicks have also been getting buckets lately, coming off a 122-97 win against the Rockets last night and averaging 120.4 ppg over their last five games.
While you might think New York is due for a letdown after such a big victory and playing on the tail end of a back-to-back, consider that they are 6-0 ATS in their last six games without rest. Keep riding the red-hot Knicks.
PREDICTION: New York +3 (-110)
Over/Under pick
When these teams faced off on April 9, they combined for a whopping 262 points, including 228 in regulation. But there's reason to think that this game could be much lower-scoring. The Knicks play at the slowest pace in the NBA and have the league's best scoring defense, but they also rank just 25th in points per game with 107.3.
While the Grizz are a respectable 13th in the league in scoring with 113.3 ppg, they surprisingly struggle at home, where they average just 109.2 ppg on 44.6 percent shooting.
The Grizz are a bit tougher defensively at home where they hold foes to 110.8 ppg, compared to 113.8 ppg on the road.
With such a big home/away split, it should be little surprise that Memphis has been crushing Unders at home, going 13-34 O/U in their last 47 games at FedExForum. Take the Under tonight.
PREDICTION: Under 219.5 (-110)
Player Prop Pick
Knicks' power forward Julius Randle has been a big factor in their turnaround this season. The 26-year-old has added a deadly three-point shot to his well-rounded offensive game and is averaging career highs in points per game (24.2) and three-point percentage (42.2).
Randle has been especially dominant lately, putting up 31 points last night and scoring over 30 in eight of his last 10 games.
With Memphis ranking dead-last in the league in points per game allowed to opposing power forwards, take the Over on Randle's points total.
PREDICTION: Julius Randle Over 26.5 points (-115)
