The Chicago Bulls will look to run their winning streak to five games as they host the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.

Chicago is playing well and scoring at will right now, and I’m taking it to win at home in my 76ers vs. Bulls predictions.

Let’s take a complete look at tonight’s game in my free NBA picks for Friday, December 26.

76ers vs Bulls prediction

76ers vs Bulls best betBulls moneyline (-105)

After some earlier struggles, the Chicago Bulls appear to have found a formula that works, as they’ve now won four in a row.

During that stretch, Chicago has averaged 135.3 ppg, including beating the Atlanta Hawks 152-150 in the highest scoring game in the NBA this season.

That’s exactly how Chicago needs to win games, as they are play as quickly as any team in the league and aren’t particularly good on defense.

But between Coby White (21.4 ppg), Josh Giddey (20.0 ppg), and five other players who average in double figures, this is a deep lineup that always has multiple legitimate scoring threats on the floor.

The Philadelphia 76ers have finally gotten healthy, which should help them in the long run. But Philadelphia is coming off an eight-point home loss to the Brooklyn Nets, a game that there’s little excuse for losing.

It also doesn’t help that Joel Embiid (21.0 ppg) continues to struggle with his health. While he’s in the lineup for Friday’s game, he may be limited after hyperextending his right knee in Tuesday’s loss.

Incredibly, the Sixers are 0-3 when Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey have all been in the lineup this season. This is a team that’s still figuring out how to integrate its stars, not to mention how to keep them healthy.

The Bulls have won three straight against Philadelphia, and I’m taking Chicago to win again tonight.

Along with taking the Bulls to win, I’m also backing the Over in my SGP, as Chicago has played to totals of 149 or more points in each of their last three games.

Let’s also bet on Josh Giddey to pick up his eighth triple-double of the year, as he’s coming off one on Tuesday and also pulled off the feat last time he played against Philadelphia.

His betting strategy focuses more on finding line value based on deviations from the market rather than traditional handicapping, primarily shopping between DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics in his home state of Connecticut, though he’s not afraid to do deep game analysis to find profitable bets at any book.

Ed's advice to new bettors is to always open multiple sportsbook accounts and check the odds at each before placing any bet. Successful sports betting is about consistently beating the closing line value, which requires finding spots where one book is offering odds far better than the rest of the market and jumping on those opportunities.
