There’s an American League Central showdown at Kauffman Stadium with the Minnesota Twins visiting the Kansas City Royals tonight.

My top Twins vs. Royals predictions and MLB picks are calling for Minny to sneak out the win in a low-scoring battle tonight.

Who will win Twins vs Royals today: Twins moneyline (-114)

Kansas City Royals lefty Noah Cameron outpitched his peripherals last year with his 2.99 ERA well below his 4.10 xFIP, in addition to his unsustainably good .241 BABIP and 84.0% strand rate.

As a result, I’m siding with the more established Minnesota Twins ace Joe Ryan. He’s turned in a tidy 3.44 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and 3.58 xFIP across 55 games since the beginning of the 2024 campaign.

Of course, the Royals have also only scored nine times through the first four games after finishing 26th in runs per game in 2025.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Joe Ryan is 8-1 with a 2.02 ERA and 0.87 WHIP against Kansas City, while also holding opposing hitters to a minuscule .535 OPS across 11 career starts.

Twins vs Royals Over/Under pick: Under 8.5 (-107)

In addition to the highlighted shortcomings in the Kansas City lineup, Minny finished 23rd in runs per game in 2025, and the Twins have only scored 12 times through their own first four games.

I’m also not anticipating Cameron coming completely apart at the seams; there's plenty of room for negative regression while still keeping the Twins mainly in check.

Finally, the weather isn’t calling for rain, and there could be interruptions to keep both lineups off balance Wednesday night.
