The Padres’ red-hot bats own a sub-150 wRC+, .381 wOBA, .878 OPS, and .202 ISO over their last six games. Will they be able to exploit Logan Webb’s recent struggles?

Sunday Night Baseball between the Padres and Giants should be an exciting matchup.

I'll be highlighting why Jackson Merrill is appealing in my Padres vs. Giants props and MLB picks for Sunday, Sept. 13.

Padres vs Giants player prop picks

Rafael Devers Over 1.5 hits, runs, RBI (-110)

The way Rafael Devers has been swinging the bat, this is an auto-bet.

Over his last 10 games, the San Francisco Giants slugger owns a 1.000 SLG, .707 xSLG, and .658 ISO, all while generating a 66.7% hard-hit rate and a 26% barrel rate.

He's covering 100% of San Diego Padres right-hander Nick Pivetta’s pitch mix. Let the hot streak ride!

Jackson Merrill Over 1.5 total bases (-110)

Jackson Merrill is the highest-rated Padre and easily the hottest hitter in this lineup. The youngster owns a hard-hit rate above 66% while posting a near-20% barrel rate across his last 10 games. He also owns a .711 SLG, .817 xSLG, and .369 ISO during that span.

Lefties have been lighting up Giants right-hander Logan Webb lately too. Against his last 30 faced, lefties own a 55% hard-hit rate and 15% barrel rate, while posting a .454 xBA and .827 xSLG.

Merrill is in a great spot to keep raking. Take this down to -120.

Logan Webb Over 5.5 hits allowed (-118)

Webb has been getting lit up. He owns a 7.71 ERA and 1.57 WHIP over his last three starts while allowing a 46.51% hard-hit rate.

The Padres are red-hot, owning a sub-150 wRC+, .381 wOBA, .878 OPS, and .202 ISO over their last six contests.

In Webb's 26 outings, he's allowed Over this number in 58% of those games. The Padres should easily get Over 5.5 hits given their sizzling ways.

A few alternative bets I also like while fading Webb this evening are Over 2.5 earned runs, or the Giants' first five team total Over 1.5, which is a great price.
