Mariners vs Tigers Prediction, Picks & Odds for ALDS Game 3 — Tuesday, October 7

Eugenio Suarez's bat has been silent so far in this series, but the Mariners slugger is available at plus money to clear 1.5 HRRBI while facing Jack Flaherty, a pitcher against whom he's found success with the power stroke.

After splitting the first two games, the Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers renew tensions at Comerica Park for Game 3 of the ALDS on Tuesday, October 7.

My Mariners vs. Tigers predictions expect a rough day for SP Jack Flaherty, with Seattle slugger Eugenio Suarez among those doing damage.

I explain further with my MLB picks for Game 3 of the ALDS.

Mariners vs Tigers Game 3 predictions

Who will win Mariners vs Tigers Game 3

I have far more faith in right-hander Logan Gilbert than I do in Jack Flaherty. The latter struggled throughout 2025, and if it comes down to relievers, Seattle's fared significantly better all year. The Mariners will go up 2-1 in the ALDS with a big win on the road.

Mariners vs Tigers best bet

Eugenio Suarez Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI (+115)

Detroit Tigers right-hander Jack Flaherty largely had a season to forget, going 8-15 with a 4.64 ERA. Even though his peripherals suggest he wasn't that catastrophically bad, he gets a challenging test against the Seattle Mariners today at Comerica Park.

There are several avenues in which we can approach this Mariners offense against Flaherty, including the team total Over 4.5 at +118, but I'll focus on third baseman Eugenio Suarez instead.

Geno has struggled to start the postseason, going 0-for-8 with two strikeouts in the first two games in Seattle, but that is only enhancing his value on a very makeable Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI prop.

For one, he is firmly entrenched in the middle of the lineup, routinely batting between third and sixth. This amplifies his RBI exposure, as players like Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodriguez can litter the bases ahead of him.

He also excelled against right-handed pitchers in 2025, batting .252 with 36 of his 49 homers coming in the same-sided matchup.

Suarez has taken Flaherty deep three times in 25 career at-bats, as well. The plus-money pricetag is enough to sway me, as teammates Raleigh and J-Rod are -130 and -140 in this market, respectively.

Mariners vs Tigers Game 3 same-game parlay (SGP)

Since we can't use the HRRBI market in the SGP with BetMGM, we'll slightly pivot and take Suarez to knock in a run, which is +210 on its own and is worth a look if you're as confident in his ability in this matchup as I am.

Julio to score correlates with the Suarez RBI as he often hits ahead of him in the batting order, but he can also cash this without Geno driving him in, giving us multiple outs.

As I'm confident in Seattle's offense against Flaherty, I expect it to largely be enough to get the W and will wrap with the Mariners moneyline.

Mariners vs Tigers SGP

  • Eugenio Suarez Over 0.5 RBI
  • Julio Rodriguez Over 0.5 runs

Mariners vs Tigers home run pick for Game 3

Riley Greene (+500)

As effective as Logan Gilbert has been on the whole, he was bitten by the long ball to the tune of 20 home runs this season, with 12 coming away from T-Mobile Park. While Riley Greene hasn't tagged the righty for a homer yet in his career, he has gone 5-for-12 and hit a career-high 36 bombs this season.

Mariners vs Tigers Game 3 odds

  • Moneyline: Seattle -135 | Detroit +115
  • Run line: Seattle -1.5 (+135) | Detroit +1.5 (-160)
  • Over/Under: Over 7.5 (-110) | Under 7.5 (-110)

Mariners vs Tigers trend

The Mariners have cashed the moneyline in 18 of their last 23 games for +11.60 units and a 29% ROI. Find more MLB betting trends for Mariners vs. Tigers.
