The San Francisco Giants and Colorado Rockies continue a three-game set tonight at Coors Field in Denver.

Robbie Ray is dominating this year, and my Giants vs. Rockies predictions are eyeing him to continue that trend here.

Giants vs Rockies prediction

My Giants vs Rockies best bet: Robbie Ray Under 2.5 earned runs (-115 at Bet365)

The San Francisco Giants may not be having the greatest season, but Robbie Ray is certainly doing his part. The lefty owns an 8-1 record and 2.44 ERA, striking out 87 in 77.1 innings of work while walking 31. He’s had trouble with command at times, but it hasn’t hurt Ray up to this point.

His ERA speaks for itself. Ray has cashed the Under in earned runs allowed in four consecutive appearances, giving up just two last time out in a stellar performance against the San Diego Padres. He already faced the Colorado Rockies earlier in the year, tossing seven frames of scoreless baseball. Ray also allowed a mere two hits.

The left-hander is consistent week in and week out, and Colorado has one of the worst offenses in the Majors. Their lineup is also batting just .212 against Ray in 33 at-bats. While he’s been better at home, Ray’s ERA still sits at 3.06 on the road. He’ll bring his best stuff this evening.

Giants vs Rockies same-game parlay (SGP)

Robbie Ray Under 2.5 earned runs

Robbie Ray Over 7.5 strikeouts

Mike Yastrzemski Over 0.5 hits

We’re going to stick with Ray as part of the SGP here. As you can see by the numbers, he’s undoubtedly a strikeout pitcher. The veteran has cashed the Over in punchouts in back-to-back starts, collecting nine Ks in each. The Rockies strike out the third-most of any ball club in the big leagues.

Ray had nine Ks when he faced them in early May, and he’s struck out 40 in 32.1 innings on the road in 2025. Ray has been in very good form lately, and a fair share of his outs will come via the strikeout as he carves up Colorado in this one.

Giants vet Mike Yastrzemski is having a bit of a down year, hitting just .255 with five long balls. That’s definitely not a banner average for the 34-year-old. However, there’s reason to believe he could make some noise offensively tonight.

Yaz has cashed the Over in hits in back-to-back contests and has also terrorized Kyle Freeland in the past, going 9 for 21 (.429). Freeland is struggling immensely this season and Yastrzemski clearly has a track record of success against him.
