Sunday Night Baseball comes to Citi Field as the Los Angeles Dodgers play the New York Mets tonight to cap off the week.

My Dodgers vs. Mets predictions target a starting pitcher mismatch, as the Mets send ace Kodai Senga to the hill opposite the struggling Landon Knack.

These MLB picks on Sunday, May 25 back New York to win by multiple runs at plus money.

Dodgers vs Mets prediction for Sunday Night Baseball

My Dodgers vs Mets best bet: Mets -1.5 (+158 at Caesars)

The New York Mets have a sizable pitching advantage for Sunday Night Baseball with the Los Angeles Dodgers sending Landon Knack to the hill.

Knack has struggled to the tune of a 6.61 ERA and 1.65 WHIP across his four starts this season, and the Mets sport a 10th-ranked wRC+ against righties.

I’m also expecting better times coming for the lineup with their 20th-ranked .284 BABIP set to see a jump up moving forward.

New York sends righty Kodai Senga to the bump, and he’s been dealing with a 1.43 ERA and has allowed two earned runs or fewer in eight of his nine starts. I also value Kenga’s 46.6% ground-ball rate alongside his 5.2 barrel percentage.

The 32-year-old righty is keeping batters off balance and limiting solid contact.

Citi Field has also been kind to the home team, with the Mets posting a solid .331 wOBA and .172 ISO in Flushing Meadows compared to respective .318 and .149 marks on the highway.

Finally, the entire Los Angeles pitching staff is reeling with injuries, and the Dodgers bullpen is short multiple go-to arms.

Caesars QuickPick: Our Dodgers vs Mets same-game parlay (SGP)

Mets -1.5

Juan Soto Over 1.5 total bases

Freddie Freeman Over 0.5 hits

Mets star Juan Soto snapped out of a 3-for-25 slump Saturday, and I’m expecting the good times to continue at Citi Field tonight.

While it’s been a peaks-and-valleys start for the five-time Silver Slugger in Queens, Soto takes an elite stick to the dish with a .405 wOBA, .267 ISO and .955 OPS against righties over the past three years.

Wrapping up the same-game parlay, Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman is right in line with Soto against righties with a respective .404, .224, .958 line, and he’s also ripe for a breakout game. Freeman has gone 0-for-7 at the dish through the first two games of the series, after all.
