Prop pick #1: Freddy Peralta Under 14.5 outs

Tampa Bay Rays starter Freddy Peralta is due for a statistical correction after an unsustainable .229 BABIP and 96.8% strand rate this postseason, and his 1.08 ERA is miles below his 4.01 xERA and 5.73 xFIP. I recommend this Under up to 48%.

The Milwaukee Brewers are a tough matchup, too.

Milwaukee finished second in wOBA against righties during the regular season, and the Brew Crew is leading the postseason in the metric while ranking third in xwOBA against righties.

Prop pick #2: William Contreras Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI

Because Milwaukee star William Contreras consistently caught Peralta over a three-year stretch, I give the backstop a sizable edge in this head-to-head matchup.

Contreras also posted a solid .342 xwOBA against righties in the regular season, and his spot in the heart of the Milwaukee lineup has led to 15 hits, five runs, and seven RBI in 10 postseason games.

This prop is in play up to 50% because of the highlighted statistical correction coming for Peralta.

Prop pick #3: Robert Gasser Under 3.5 strikeouts

While the Rays have struggled against lefties with a 27th-ranked wOBA (.300) during the regular season, they’ve posted a fourth-ranked .326 mark during the playoffs.

Milwaukee southpaw Robert Gasser also sports a minuscule 16.2% strikeout rate during the postseason, so I recommend this Under up to 58%.

Gasser has thrown only nine innings across his two postseason starts, and his 1.00 ERA is well below his underlying 3.88 xERA and 5.11 xFIP. The Milwaukee bullpen is also in good shape for middle-relief work following the day off Sunday.
