Arizona starts Eduardo Rodriguez. The lefty has been dependable if unspectacular, although he allowed no earned runs in five innings in his first start. The Braves are hitting better against southpaws (.286/.392/.476) than right-handers (.279/.347/.459) this season.
Three Atlanta players have a career OPS over 1.000 against Rodriguez, and Matt Olson (.971) and Ronald Acuna Jr. (.833) just missed.
COVERS INTEL: Arizona has struggled with the big inning. The D-backs allowed 27 runs through the first six games before Thursday's rout, and 23 of them have come in just five innings. The Braves scored 13 of the 17 in two innings on Thursday.
