It’s time for the main event — the World Series is finally here.

The star power between the Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers is off the charts, but Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is the bat I expect to headline Game 1.

Blue Jays World Series Game 1 best bet: Plakata!

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 total bases (+115 at BET99)

A massive reason the Toronto Blue Jays are in the World Series is Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who is hitting .442 this postseason with a 1.440 OPS.

Guerrero's total on his bases prop is set at 1.5 for Game 1 against the Los Angeles Dodgers, a number he’s cleared in seven of 11 playoff games.

Although Blake Snell has been stellar this postseason, the southpaw starter primarily throws a four-seamer with 43% usage, and then mixes in a change-up, curveball, and slider. Vladdy has been an excellent fastball hitter this season, posting a .343 xBA and a 54.4% hard-hit rate.

If he waits for his pitch, as he has all postseason, he should electrify the crowd with an extra-base hit or two and cash the Over.

Friday’s Blue Jays Game 1 same-game parlay (SGP)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 total bases

Ernie Clement Over 0.5 hits

Trey Yesavage Over 14.5 outs

I’ll continue to back the Jays’ bats by taking Ernie Clement to eclipse 0.5 hits. The infielder has been hot this postseason, recording at least one hit in nine of 11 games. He also owns lefties, boasting a .326 batting average against southpaws with a .900 OPS.

For the final leg, let’s ride the Trey Yesavage train and take him to record more than 14.5 outs. The 22-year-old has surpassed that total in two of his three starts this postseason and has worked his pitch count into the high 80s and low 90s.

If Yesavage's tantalizing stuff continues to baffle Dodger hitters, the rookie right-hander should easily reach five innings in Game 1.
