The Pirates have been pathetic at the plate, and that, combined with a road matchup against Brewers ace Freddy Peralta, has me expecting a low-scoring start in Milwaukee.
My other MLB picks for Tuesday are betting on early runs to be scored in Minnesota and St. Louis. Here are my best free YRFI and NRFI bets for June 24.

NRFI/YRFI bets for June 24
Mariners at Twins: YRFI (-104 at ProphetX)
The Seattle Mariners have been crushing the ball away from pitcher-friendly T-Mobile Park. They lead the majors in OPS on the road (.799) and have scored in the first inning in a whopping 50% of their away contests.
That's bad news for Minnesota Twins starter Chris Paddack, who has pitched to a 6.00 ERA with an OBA of .311 in the opening frame.
The Twins are eighth in the majors in run first-inning percentage (32.1%), with that number surging to 36.1% at home. They should be able to hit against Luis Castillo, who has a 4.59 ERA with an OBA of .297 on the road.
Pirates at Brewers: NRFI (-121 at ProphetX)
The Pittsburgh Pirates have the worst offense in the majors. They rank dead-last in OPS (.643) and runs per game (3.28), with those numbers dropping to .609 and 3.10 on the road.
They'll have a tough time generating offense against Milwaukee Brewers starter Freddy Peralta, who has a 2.76 ERA with an OBA of .200 through 16 starts.
The Buccos respond with southpaw Andrew Heaney, who has been solid in the first inning, where he has a 3.00 ERA with a 1.07 WHIP. The Brewers struggle to hit left-handed pitchers (slugging .363) and have been slow starters, ranking 28th in the majors in run-first inning percentage (24.05%).
Cubs at Cardinals: YRFI (-115 at ProphetX)
The Chicago Cubs are second in the majors in runs per game (5.36) and fourth in OPS (.767). Meanwhile, the St. Louis Cardinals are seventh in runs per game (4.73) and bat a sizzling .270 at home.
The Cards have recalled Michael McGreevy from the minors for a spot start today. The 24-year-old has impressive numbers in a limited sample size, posting a 2.70 ERA in 16 2/3 Big League innings. However, his expected ERA (3.82) and expected batting average (.271) suggest he'll likely experience regression.
The Cubs will give the pill to Jameson Taillon, who has a 3.84 ERA through 15 starts, but his FIP sits significantly higher at 4.82.
❓What are NRFI and YRFI bets❓
NRFI (No Run First Inning) and YRFI (Yes Run First Inning) bets add a thrilling twist to the start of an MLB game. A NRFI bet is a wager that no runs will be scored in the first inning. You're betting that the starting pitchers for both teams will get through the first inning without allowing any runs, whether by striking out batters, inducing ground balls, or through solid defensive play.
A YRFI bet is the exact opposite. You're betting that at least one run will be scored in the first inning. In this case, you’re hoping for an early offensive burst such as a leadoff walk, a timely hit, or even a home run.
NRFI and YRFI bets add excitement to the early part of a game and offer immediate gratification for bettors looking for a quick resolution.
