The power numbers haven’t shown up for Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr., but his Statcast analytics indicate he’s been making solid contact.
As a result, my MLB picks expect the All-Star slugger to have a big game at Progressive Field tonight.
I'm also backing Yankees southpaw Carlos Rodon and fading Angels starter Tyler Anderson with my MLB player props for Tuesday, June 24.
Best MLB player props today

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 total bases (-110 at Sports Interaction)
It's been a disappointing year for Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who is batting .279 while slugging .442 — the lowest number since his rookie season.
That said, Vladdy's expected batting average (.325) and expected slugging percentage (.544) are significantly higher, which suggests positive regression on the horizon. Guerrero has also been crushing lefties, slugging .541 against them, and he'll have the platoon advantage against Cleveland Guardians southpaw Logan Allen tonight.
Allen ranks in the bottom 20th percentile in xERA (4.68) and barrel rate, which is bad news against Vladdy, who is in the top 10th percentile in barrel rate (15.1%). This is a five-star prop play according to THE BAT X, which is projecting 2.4 total bases for Guerrero.
Carlos Rodon Under 2.5 earned runs (-110 at BetMGM)
The New York Yankees are sending two-time All-Star Carlos Rodon to the mound for tonight's matchup against the Cincinnati Reds.
Although Rodon has been hit hard in his last three starts, he still sports an impressive 3.10 ERA with a 0.98 WHIP in 95 2/3 innings this year. The veteran southpaw also has an expected ERA of 2.95, and his expected batting average of .202 sits in the top 10th percentile.
Cincinnati strikes out at the seventh-highest rate in baseball, and the Reds have struggled to hit lefties, batting just .217 against them.
Tyler Anderson Under 17.5 recorded outs (-105 at Sports Interaction)
Struggling southpaw Tyler Anderson will toe the rubber for the Los Angeles Angels this evening. Anderson has pitched to an ugly 7.07 ERA with a 1.82 WHIP in his last seven starts.
He won't find it easy to get into a groove against the Boston Red Sox, who lead the majors in batting average against lefties (.274). The BoSox traded away their best hitter last week but have still been producing at the dish, scoring at least five runs in three of their last four games.
Anderson has logged fewer than 15.5 outs in six of his last eight starts, which makes u17.5 recorded outs a bargain.
