Last year, it was Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. This year, bettors can wager on if New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs will propose to girlfriend and music star Cardi B after the Super Bowl.

FanDuel Ontario posted the odds, giving dominating -2,000 to “no” compared to just +900 for “yes.”

Key Takeaways

  • This is Diggs’ first time playing in the Super Bowl after two previous championship game failures.

  • The Patriots are +190 moneyline underdogs in the Super Bowl.

  • Diggs called Cardi his wife in a video posted online earlier this year.

The Super Bowl is the most watched annual event in America, meaning that there is not a grander stage for an individual to pop the big question.

While Kelce failed to get down on one knee during both of his Super Bowl appearances with Swift at his hip, Diggs is going to get his turn on the hot seat in less than two weeks.

Oddsmakers at FanDuel Ontario still think that the star receiver is unlikely to ask for Cardi’s hand in marriage. The -2,000 odds for “no” translate to a 95.2% implied probability, while +900 for “yes” only carries a 10% implied chance.

One of the prerequisites for Diggs proposing almost assuredly includes the Patriots winning the Super Bowl. That’s already an issue, as they are +190 underdogs on the moneyline, meaning that FanDuel believes they only have a 34.5% chance to win the Big Game.

The 32-year-old receiver also has to close his season in a way he never has: by winning the Super Bowl.

Diggs already made personal history by getting to the Super Bowl, but he faces a daunting opponent in the Seattle Seahawks. He had previously made the conference championship game with the Minnesota Vikings and the Buffalo Bills.

Diggs’ and Cardi’s relationship timeline

Diggs and Cardi, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, were first rumored to be dating in October 2024.

They made several public appearances together in early 2025 and became official in May 2025. Cardi also confirmed in November 2025 that she had given birth to their first child together.

Despite her relationship with Diggs, Cardi is reportedly still legally married to her estranged husband and Migos rapper, Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus).

Cardi and Offset were married on Sept. 20, 2017. Cardi filed for divorce in September 2020 but dismissed it, only to file again in July 2024. They have been separated since, but they remain legally married due to ongoing negotiations over personal assets.

In November, the Patriots’ Latin social media accounts posted a video of Diggs receiving a team hoodie with “Español” on it. Diggs thanked them and requested another for his “esposa,” which is Spanish for wife, and another for their child.

Despite that, there is no confirmation that the two are married.

Super Bowl betting breakdown

Super Bowl betting markets often include many novelty props, such as odds for the opening coin toss, the color of Gatorade that will be poured on the winning coach, and if Diggs will propose to Cardi.

However, the back-and-forth on the field remains the biggest draw for all NFL bettors. Heavy support was reported for the Seahawks early in the week, with most major online sportsbooks shifting their Super Bowl odds in their favor. The Seahawks climbed as high as -5.5 at several sportsbooks.

According to FanDuel, 67% of spread bets and 75% of spread money is on the Seahawks.
