The online sportsbook, casino, and prediction market operator announced Monday that “DraftKings Gameday” will take place Wednesday, Sept. 2. College football’s Week 1 begins Thursday, with the NFL set to kick off Sept. 9.

‘Gameday’ experience
DraftKings is giving away free gas in multiple U.S. and Canadian cities, including Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, and Detroit, to kick off the day.
DraftKings customers can also access a variety of special sports betting, predictions, and iGaming offers on the app throughout Wednesday. DraftKings will also unveil new features and product enhancements during “Gameday.”

This is DraftKings’ first football season since launching its Super App, which combines its sports betting, casino, prediction market, fantasy, and lottery products. Promotions and bonuses will vary based on the DraftKings products available to customers in their jurisdictions.
“No matter where you are, you're going to have access to great offers all day to get everyone ready for football season,” a DraftKings spokesperson told Covers.
Platforms and products
The sportsbook product is available in 27 U.S. states, including New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and Massachusetts, as well as Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. This is the first full football season since DraftKings expanded to Missouri and Arkansas.
The operator’s online casino can be accessed in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
DraftKings Predictions, which launched in late 2025, is available in 48 states, including jurisdictions where the company doesn’t operate a sportsbook. This includes heavily populated California, Florida, Texas, and Georgia.
Customers can check out the latest promos for more details on current offerings. Before Wednesday’s “Gameday,” new users can get $200 in bonus bets at sign-up after a $5 deposit and wager.
Hitting the road
DraftKings also announced its “Take Your Game Anywhere” campaign, which features comedian/actor Kevin Hart and musician Nick Jonas taking a cross-country road trip to show fans how to use the Super app. They’ll be seen at a New Jersey diner placing a bet and then end up making a trade in California. The campaign will run across TV, digital, and social platforms.

DraftKings is also launching a new veterans-focused community initiative.
“DraftKings, through its DraftKings SERVES program, will donate $50,000 to DAV (Disabled American Veterans), a nonprofit organization that provides lifetime support to veterans, their families, caregivers and survivors,” the company said in the release. “The contribution will help fuel the organization’s Transportation Network, which provides injured and disabled veterans with free rides to VA medical facilities and appointments.”
