Players in Ontario can now enjoy a seamless online gaming experience with the launch of Bally’s updated app.

Powered by White Hat Gaming, the new Bally Bet app combines Bally’s offerings into one platform, allowing users to bet on sports and play casino games using a single account and wallet.

Bally’s announced this week that players can expect a series of messages through the app, email, and social media, ensuring a seamless transition to the new app.

“We are thrilled to introduce the new Bally Bet Sportsbook & Casino app, marking a significant milestone for Bally's,” said Bally’s Corporation CEO, Robeson Reeves.

“This integrated platform merges the features of our previous apps, providing players in Ontario with a seamless experience for both sports and casino betting. Our commitment to enhancing the player experience remains at the forefront as we strive to personalize the enjoyment of playing Bally Bet.”

The integrated app made its debut in New Jersey last month. The Bally Casino first launched in the Garden State in 2021. Pennsylvania and Rhode Island are the only other U.S. states in which Bally’s currently operates its online casino and could therefore release the all-in-one app.

Bally’s is the sole online casino operator in Rhode Island and has reported strong revenue results every month since the market launched in March 2024.

Further state launches on the cards

At the same time, the Bally Bet Sportsbook is live in ten states after its most recent launch in Tennessee in October 2024.

Bally’s also announced in the summer that it plans to launch its sportsbook in four more online casino states, perhaps in anticipation of the newly updated app.

However, it must first receive approval from state regulators, which could be a challenge in certain states.

For instance, BetRivers monopolizes Delaware’s online betting market, including casinos and sportsbooks. Earlier this year, Rep. Frank Cooke and Rep. William Bush sponsored House Bill 365, which would have opened the door for new operators to launch. However, the bill died in June after the Appropriations Committee did not take it up within 12 legislative days.

Bally Bet in Ontario

Ontario launched its regulated iGaming market on April 4, 2022, including both casino gaming and sports betting. Bally Bet made its debut in the province in the same year after receiving approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

Today, players have the choice from more than 80 Ontario online casinos, including big-name brands such as BetMGM, bet365, PointsBet, and Caesars Palace. There are also around 30 Ontario sports betting sites available.

Players must be 19 years of age or older to participate in all internet gaming managed by iGaming Ontario. The Bally Bet Sportsbook & Casino app is available to download for free from the Apple App Store, where it is rated 4.6/5 stars, and Google Play. Android customers give the app 4.4 stars.
