BetMGM has launched House of the Dragon, a new online slot game developed by software provider Blueprint Gaming, exclusively for Ontario online casino and Alberta customers.
- The House of the Dragon slot will launch exclusively at BetMGM Casino in Ontario and Alberta for six weeks.
- Blueprint Gaming’s slot features the Dragon’s Wheel mechanic, Dance of the Dragon spins, Dragon Egg enhancements, and more.
- The launch follows the performance of BetMGM’s exclusive Game of Thrones slot in Ontario and Alberta.
The House of the Dragon slot will remain exclusive to BetMGM for an initial six-week period.
Based on HBO’s House of the Dragon series, the slot features gameplay inspired by characters and storylines from the award-winning TV show. Its central mechanic, Dragon’s Wheel, expands on Blueprint Gaming’s Collect model used across the developer’s wider portfolio.
Additional features include Dance of the Dragon spins and Dragon Egg enhancements, whereas Dragon's Chest, Dragon's Fire, and Dragon's Lock deliver expanded symbols, alternative reel configurations, and respin features.

The launch follows the success of Blueprint Gaming’s Game of Thrones slot, which is based on the same fictional universe as House of the Dragon.
The game debuted exclusively at BetMGM Casino in Ontario in April 2026 before launching in Alberta in July 2026 after the regulated Alberta online casino market opened. It became one of BetMGM’s strongest-performing games in the province, setting records across multiple performance metrics.
Research firm Eilers & Krejcik Gaming also placed Game of Thrones among Canada’s top-performing new online slot launches.
BetMGM renews agreement with Oilers' Connor McDavid
In addition to its latest online casino game launch in Ontario and Alberta, BetMGM recently announced its renewed partnership with the three-time NHL Hart Memorial Trophy winner Connor McDavid, who first joined the operator’s roster line-up of ambassadors in March 2022.
In the multi-year agreement, McDavid will continue to feature in the operator’s responsible gambling campaigns across broadcast, digital, and social media, with the collaboration expanding into additional markets and audiences.
The partnership builds on BetMGM’s “Mullet Over” campaign, which the operator said contributed to a 27% year-over-year increase in accounts that utilize deposit limits since the campaign’s launch in December 2025.
