The Swedes have dominated the tournament and will put a bow on the proceedings with a decisive victory over Czechia tonight in St. Paul.

Sweden are riding high into the Gold Medal Game at the 2026 World Junior Championship on Monday, January 5.

While Czechia are fresh off a win over Canada in the semis, our Sweden vs. Czechia predictions are more bullish on the Swedes' chances.

Check out our Sweden vs. Czechia same-game parlay and betting picks below.

Sweden vs Czechia same-game parlay pick

Sweden -1.5

Over 5.5

The Swedes have allowed the fewest goals per game in the tournament and continue to receive high-end goaltending from Love Harenstam. He turned away 33 of 36 shots Sunday and sports a .917 save percentage for the tournament.

It’s been just the opposite for Czechia.

Starter Michal Orsulak wasn’t sharp in the semifinal, allowing four goals on 24 shots, and his .860 SV% and 3.20 GAA are nothing to write home about, either.

Sweden also have the superior special teams, and I anticipate the Swedes winning their first World Junior Championship since 2012.
