Rory McIlroy is back in action to defend another title at this week's Truist Championship, but maybe not where he hoped.
He'd love to be at Quail Hollow, where he's won four times in his career, but with the track gearing up to host the PGA Championship later this month, the formerly-named Wells Fargo Championship is off to the Philadelphia Cricket Club. Rory's a short 4/1 favorite either way.

If we were at Quail Hollow, defending champion Rory McIlroy would have odds even shorter than 4/1. Still, the World No. 2's insane form is enough to justify that short price. He's won four of his last nine starts dating back to mid-November, and those wins include a signature event (Pebble Beach Pro-Am), THE PLAYERS, and the Masters. Not bad.
He has deep roots at this tournament, with four wins and a handful of other top finishes dating back to 2010, though that success all came at Quail Hollow. We'll see how he fares in Philly this week.
Collin Morikawa is the No. 2 choice with odds between +1200 and +1400. He finished T10 at THE PLAYERS and T14 at the Masters before going T54 at the RBC Heritage and missing the cut at the Zurich Classic.
Justin Thomas, Xander Schauffele, and Ludvig Aberg round out the Top 5 in the next tier, all listed around 16/1. Thomas and Aberg already have wins this season, and Xander has finished runner-up here for the last two years.
