Revenge

The Dream will be looking for revenge tonight.  The last time the Fire visited College Park was July 11th.  They were 12.5 dogs and beat the Reese less Dream 102 -92.  The Fire have beat 2 other teams SU as a double digit dog.

Early in the season they beat the Liberty at home 98-96 as 11.5 dogs.  2 days later as 11.5 dogs they lost to the Liberty 100-82.

The other was May 30th when the Fire at home beat the Fever 100-84 as 11.5 dogs.  July 31st the Fever got their revenge back in Portland 112-98 as 8.5 fav..

The Dream get their revenge at home unlike the other 2 teams and Friday night will help I'm guessing.

I like that the Fire are officially out of the playoffs and that the Wings just blew them out by 18.  Fire have been traveling all over the country the last 2 weeks and get to look forward to the long flight home after the game.

I don't like that the Dream are 2-7 ATS as double digit favs and the Fire are 7-3 ATS as double digit dogs.  Not a fan of a big fav but with revenge and how both teams are playing I'll take a stab.  I have more on the first half than I do the game.

Dream are 6-1 ATS 1st half at home last 7 and before last game they had a 6-0 ATS 1st half streak

Wow this is over.  The Fire look like the playoff team.  The Dream look out of it.  Maybe those 3 days off at home

The Bad Dream are now 0-8 ATS at home since June 22nd as favorites of 9.5 points or more.

The Bad Dream line seems awfully tempting. 

Revenge is up for the Dream again.  That game was 3 months ago so maybe not so much.  I'd love to fade them but I just can't trust any team that is coming off 5 days rest at home.  The Lynx played one other game after 5 days off.  They beat the Tempo at home 100-93 as 16.5 favs..  The Dream will play better than their last game but I don't think it will be enough to top the mighty Lynx who are pretty good after a loss.

I have my eye on the Fire.  Watching them easily beat the Dream and only playing for next year impressed me.  It's too bad that they are playing the hottest team in the league right now.  Any other opponent I'd be all over the Fire.  Both have traveled cross country but the Valkyries have an extra day off.  

Sparks going for revenge.  They are 6-3 SU and 7-2 ATS on the road against Western Conference teams.  The Storm are only 1-17 against Western Conference teams.  The Storm are very rested only playing 8 games in August compared to 12 for the Sparks.  Rest hasn't been a good thing for the Storm.  Of their 8 wins, 6 were on 1 days rest and the other 2 were on 2 days rest.  They are 0-6 SU and 1-5 ATS on 3 or more days rest.
