There are many factors involved as sharps, wise guys, organized triads - and they all have in common one thing - they drive the lines up and down and sometimes have a hand in a fix or two - usually a point shaving - and you have to figure out what will be the next - straight play or otherwise - should you pick or stay away... You need a time a professional approach if you really wanna make money on betting and to make money on a continuous basis - is a very hard thing. You can never let your guard down and can never be basing your strategy on a sole thing. Many believe - and wrongly so - that Vegas is interested for us to lose bets so they can gain profits. Vegas makes money on juice. For every bet you lose - someone else is winning. I can go on here endlessly explaining where the sports pyramide starts from and how the info gets around from sports agents and so and so, or can recommend you to take a study in NLVU about the subject. The bottom line is always one - you need to invest lots of time to become a successful capper. Not only a talented, but a pro.

If you already have chosen to tail someone - you better do it in all his picks and on a monthly basis - but only one person to tail. You can tail 44dimes, or a smartbets, LV Truck, samdude3, or anyone else you already have mentioned as a winning one -but do it on a constant basis. BOL

I agree with you MK. Absolutely. Capping is a serious business and demands more than knowing teams and plays. I also think that certain people have a talent for it and others dont. To be a successful capper  - you need to be such over the extended period of time and what a better proof than yourself. I am actually convinced that in order for me to make money from betting on sports - I should tail such capper after finding him and I think I did. Thanks for sharing all your picks with public and GL

MK, great picks today too - both were sure winners long before the end.
206 points scored on Over 177 and 11 points difference in second quarter on -4.  Those are quality picks and very original since I did not see anyone picking those particular bets.
    Cheers MK

Thanks for the kind words. All my picks are original as I believe are the most of the other cappers.
As much as I am flattered with an attention - as I have already stated - the subject of this thread is a very important one and I would be happy to see related comments.

Again - great choice of thread 14allall41. BOL

    1. discipline- preservation of capital, never get greedy.

    2. system- set out how many bets you will do a week, and how much you need to win, i do 4 or 5 parlays a week, if i hit 3\4 or 4\5 i stop, that is enough cash for the week for me.

3.trust yourself- research well and only trust your gut, win or lose, its on you, not some random guy who may or may not be working for a sports gambling site or entity. you never know who is on the other side of the computer screen amigos.

    4. To win you should never parlay more than 2 games, seriously, i win on 3 a lot but it's still risky. Play singles or 2 game parlay. SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE.

Does anyone out there parlay your bets.  You can have 3 good teams and add 1 bad pick and mess up everything.

14allall41, interesting post you have going here. Your lead for this thread sounds like what a lot of people go through when they first get involved with wagering and really want to get serious with it. Like myself many people when first starting look for an easy way to get winning picks with the least amount of capping.                In the end you really need the same discipline that is required for money management in capping for yourself. There are a lot of systems, theories, trends and angles to be waded through and filtering out the ones that are good or useless. Using certain stats combined with selected trends and/or systems not only take work but time as well to develope your system for capping through the trials and errors of a few seasons to prove it in real betting situations and not just in a theory on paper. And thanks to people like MK who can help us make a few bucks while we figure it out for ourselves.

Crazy day yesterday in NBA and those kind of nights are to be taken into the consideration too when you look at the big picture (although I went 1-0 on NBA and 3-3 overall) , once in a while night like that happen when the overwhelming amount of bets are on one side and there is no way to cover them from another. I call those nights "cooperation nights" between Vegas and the WGs. Which other regular nights you will see so manu SU wins by a great Underdogs? Toronto (+10, SU win by 5, Delta 15), NJ (+13.5, SU win by 7, Delta 20.5), Milwaukee (+5, SU win by 6, Delta 11), Indiana (+9, SU win by 5, Delta 14), Minnesota (+5.5, SU Win by 15, Delta 20.5), Cleveland (+3.5, SU win by 10, Delta 13.5).
Vegas is never that wrong all in one night!!!
