With your system teams less ranked winning the first game got 80% to win the series.

And teams higher ranked wining the first game got78,8% to win the series.

For tonight

Detroit /yankees ( who would win) ? ( detroit won the first game like Less ranked) 

CIN/Pitts ( who would win) ? ( Cincinatti won the first game like Higher ranked)

Tor/Boston ? ( Boston won the first game like less ranked)

Wash/Mets ? ( Wash won the first game like less ranked)

Rays/Angels ? ( angels won the first game like less ranked)

Florida/cubs? ( florida won the first game like higher ranked)

Atl/Brewers ? ( atlanta won the first game like higher ranked)

Phil/Col ? ( phillies won the first game like higher ranked)

And why not Phillies ( with holliday) against colorado but this game is not in the system Power rating.

Hey Hart...   I should reitterrate its just a trend not a system (yet).

I picked this up after Nabil talked about his system, I trended a bunch of information and although his 1st part of the system on page 1 didnt really hold true (for me) based on this website, the rankings showed a STRONG significance to what I have said and posted.   having said that,

there are 15 series...   (some of these series are 4 game series and I have not trended those numbers, i.e. Det/Nyy is one of them)

Based on what I have said, in the TOR/BOS series, the Less ranked team won game one...80% of the time the Less ranked team will end up winning the series...   Some rankings like the TOR/BOS, TOR will be ranked Higher throughout the next 2 games in the series even if they lose they will still be ranked higher, so in this series...  I am saying BOS should win 1 or 2 of the next 2 games.    

A series like CIN/PIT, CIN won game 1 and was the less ranked team.    The rankings today now show CIN is greater ranked  than PIT...    My trend suggests that the LESS ranked team will take 1 or 2 of the next 2 games....    you will have to track the trends on a daily basis to determine which team is ranked higher or lower.

Looks like you are on the right track.    We need to come up with a way to predict game 1 of a series.    I find Nabil way interesting with this sites rankings and factoring in other info as well as SixTen does.

Thats why I posted the trend of almost 2-1 of HOME teams winning game 1 in the AL and slightly less ratio in the NL...    will continue to keep tabs on it.

glefkb01  when you talk about the lower or higher ranked teams is only for the first game.

i mean boston won yesterday and there was the lower team ranked, but tonight boston is also the lower team ranked so you play regarding the ranking of the first game or the ranking for the 2nd game.?

i understand Toronto would have to win 1 or 2 games until the end of series.

But for cincinatti they won the first game ( less ra,nked team won) but tonight reds are higher ranked team.

in your trend you determine always after the result of the first game and for the following games not important if the team who won the first game is now higher or lower ranked team. ?

I have preferred to wait til game 3...I dont want to bet on 15 games and have the trend bust or something and me hangin in the breeze...     Waiting allows some series to complete and may kinda give you an idea if the trend is gonna hold for the rest of the games come game 3 day!

My leans are strictly following a trend not taking PITCHERS WHIPS ERAS WEATHER into consideration...   so trend with me and lets see what happens
