Long time observer ( read the whole thread). Some facts and not hating, cause i see you have so much to say to that Jonson caracter:
From the topic ( Has anyone made any money betting on sports steadily throughout the past year? 'cause I did! See how ) one would think Mavin will show us how he made money betting on sports, right? That is how i understand this. He tried an failed ( he lost his bankroll).
Now he doesnt even capp anymore, whats that all about?!? Why not? He said he made steadily money for a year! He rather babysit this thread now?
This thread is now something entirely different.
I love the fact that people have to explain their picks, cause i believe that should be the purpose of the forum ( giving the facts why u pick sth), helping eachother and get better at it.
Its good that u keep a track of record, that people can see how good somebody is if they wanna follow, if there reasoning for picks are working.
Calling it a contest on the other hand is just silly.
And making statments like somebody is in top of the top since he has a good run and make 30k in 2 months is ridicoulus. You have people that dont even blink for that kind of money in one bet.
And that doesnt mean that this fella ( Phixer) or anybody else here isnt a good capper.
Keep doing what u do, its good, but dont hate others for stating facts.

love the grizzlies pick. reminds me of spurs vs okc last week when spurs -2 at home and okc gets 85% of public money. same thing today.

OKC Thunder +1.5
Under 191 MEM Grizzlies - OKC Thunder
Under 209 HOU Rockets - UTA Jazz
This is basically the same bet I made last night in the Thunder - Nuggets contest. Reflecting on my write-up from last night, I made some clarifications to my thinking. It seems that recent contests, between 2 of the top teams in the NBA, played out to hit the Under or be very close to the Under (as Turbo says, you can't predict things like Green's career night and so on). I think teams in this situation make a point to enforce their defensive will on the other team, hopefully creating a mental advantage come playoffs. I also don't buy the Thunder being tired factor. Did the Nuggets look tired last night? I think it is safe to bet a top NBA team won't be losing 2 in a row. My only worry is that the Thunder lack motivation because they already clinched a playoff berth. My guess is that they still play for seeding with both the Nuggets and these Grizzlies only 4 games back of them.
The Rockets/Jazz game in Houston is also on my playoff implication radar. There are heavy trends to suggest the Under, even without the implications and assuming both teams will attempt to give a defensive effort (The Rockets are capable of attempting, may not accomplish the whole "defense" part).
FROM THE BigUnit's write-up: " Last 5 games, Jazz games have averaged 186.8 and Rockets games have averaged 195."
