On another note... I think that guy brought up a good point the other day. We should work out some sort of system as far as moderating this group. It is a time consumer venture and since we're all involved with this it isn't considerate to let Mavin do all the work.

Well said! That is partially why I will post plays other than ones posted as I want to hear discussion. I too use a pen and paper as my weapon of choice but maybe not all because of choice as my typing skills are lacking but I feel I can retain that info and recall it more clear for future profits. Also allows me time to think or even rethink what I am thinking. I also believe predicting your own line is the best place to start when successfully capping

Thanks for sharing your approach! As my record does not reflect my efforts at the moment (although lost some close ones, still losses), I've been using note pad to organize my thoughts and picks. Critical time management in not looking for the same thing twice. Gives one more time to search for additional information.
Been doing this for 6 years and have never progressed at the rate I am this year. Thanks for everyone's insight and hard work.

Very few of us actually make money betting on sports. It took me years upon years to become profitable but now I am able to make a very healthy living off of it as well as helping a select few who have the discipline to follow play by play at the exact time a wager is needed to be placed along with proper hedging techniques that the average bettor either A) will not understand or B) will fail to follow properly.

Take a look how many picks there are and I have to be dealing also with many who don't post all their picks at once but dripping them one by one. With that I can live understanding that some picks have to be posted before the line changes and others close to the tip off to check the line movements, public etc. But those who simply are either too lazy and count on me to do their job or are not so comprehensive of what a simple task is asked of them - I can't and should not tolerate. I really have a very little time left to handicap my plays and that reflects - but I don't complain - I chose to do it. So, please, everyone who have a respect for themselves first of all and for the guys here - make an effort not to look like dumb butts please
