I pick what I pick - totals and ATS - up to you to consider what you like. I do understand and agree that with only NBA ATS picks I'd be over 57% on my picks (37-26), but the fact is that I did post other picks as well I can't wash my hands from or correct it. Thanks for the support. I appreciate it.
Zireal - whatever you feel like will improve and get you a better results day in day out - go for it. You're doing great and relentless job same as all the friends here contributing everyday. This thread has become a brainstorm of handicapping and has a great value for all who reads it. 
Sorry, Mavin, I was asking from a money management aspect about not betting totals. I'll give you a generic situation to help illustrate my question.
A handicapper is having a terrific year betting NFL sides but he realizes that betting NFL totals is killing his bank roll. Should he stop betting totals, reduce the number of totals he bets, reduce the amount he's wagering on totals, a mix of the last two, or continue down the same path and hope it works out?
I'm not sure I know the right answer and it's probably different for everyone, but normally when this happens to me (and it's usually due to betting different sports and not sides and totals) I reduce the size of my bet until I feel confident again.
But, if you're truly interested in managing your money properly, continuing down the same path doesn't seem like the right answer.
