had basically near perfect week, but very good contest results. went 5-0 in my selections, much needed. got humbled by the Falcons tonight. much needed as well. it means to keep on working and chipping away. keep honing my skills, trust my instinct and stick to the process. this week i got 10 games that feel a bit off compared to the Vegas lines. Perhaps the perception tax is inflating some of these lines and its up to me to find out if it is warranted and worth paying attention to. Hoping what worked for me in week 4 can carry over to week 5. stay tuned

First thought when i read this line: Are the Bucs going to lose by 10 pts or more for the first time this season? They have been competitive in every game up to this point losing by one possession so line is asking us: will Cowboys blow them out? Early public action seems to be on the Cowboys, but it looks like smart money has brought this line down a bit.

First thought when i read this line: That might be the most points I've seen the Jaguars lay across the pond and against a respected perennial playoff team. shows how far the Eagles have fallen off with injuries and 3rd rate play. Public action looks to be huge on Jacksonville, as to be expected. Perhaps smart money too is on the Jags. Is the steam warranted? Yes maybe, is it worth laying now at the key number of 7? Basically, asking yourself if the Jags can beat the Eagles by 2 possessions.

In the Covers contest where you can bet 1 or 2 weeks ahead of time, I took the Falcons +4.5.
Ravens and Eagles seem to always be over-rated at the start of the season. Also got Cowboys at -3.5 vs TB and Jags -2.5 vs Eagles betting a week or more ahead.

I started playing the contest again after awhile and checked out a player in the top 10 and saw what you mentioned. Interesting strat for sure, high risk high reward if fortunate to land the right team with great CLV. As for me I'll take it week by week with my 10 plays or so per week
In week 1, they flubbed the line or it glitched but they didn't bother to correct it and gave me double digit spread on 3 games like Bears +13 and Ravens +23. they didn't honor the selection after it won.
