I think the Dodgers were simply priced a little high to open. They are always going to carry a public tax, and when sharper bettors see an extra 10 or 20 cents of value on the other side, they are going to take it. The action is lopsided and the line dropped, but to me this looks more like buyback against an inflated number than some major red flag on Los Angeles. I’m not reading much more into it than that.

Houston absolutely has some sticks. That top four can do damage, and that is a big reason the line is sitting where it is. But once Martin gets through the top of the order, the lineup softens considerably and there are outs to be found in the bottom half. Meanwhile, the White Sox are swinging it well, playing with confidence at home, and should have opportunities against Arrighetti

well since you asked, yeah anytime Martin pitches I like the Sox

We need Martin pounding the zone and getting through Houston’s top four clean. Then Chicago needs early traffic and a run or two before Arrighetti settles in.

Best-case script quick zero from Martin, White Sox strike first, and Arrighetti’s pitch count starts climbing. That puts both tickets exactly where we want them.
