i put each game for the season into excel then average out each teams, quarters and full game score for example if Orlando had played 6 games and the 1st quarter scores for orlando had been 23,26,32,18,22,36 then there 1st quarter score would be 26 and the same with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and full game

I just don't see the point of the whole box score approach. You are basically taking the team's average scores and finding the difference to get your line. Not bashing or anything because obviously it's worked out well for you. BOL to the rest of your games.
