Delaware QB Nick Minicucci

Anybody have a scoop on Delaware QB Nick Minicucci tonight? He left the Virginia game with a knee injury and has been questionable all week. Trying to find out if he’s actually expected to play.

personally i think Liberty the much better team  should control the line, on both sides i think anyway

Short answer: All publicly available reports indicate Delaware’s starting QB Nick Minicucci is not expected to play tonight due to the leg injury he suffered vs. Virginia.

 if Minicucci is out and Streeter starts, that is a significant drop-off.

My line is Liberty -6.5 right now, but it’s juiced pretty good

Delaware backup QB Braden Streeter has mostly been in mop up duty this season. He’s 9-of-28 passing for 97 yards, 0 TDs and 2 INTs on the year.

Last week against Virginia after Minicucci went down. Streeter finished 2-of-16 for 9 yards with 2 interceptions. Before that, he had 12 passe all season

 I heard from CUSACentel on X that he is expected to start.

Either way, I would tread lightly.

Thanks, Mark. That’s probably why the line is frozen at 6.5. I like Liberty quite a bit more if Streeter is the quarterback, but it definitely loses some shine if Minicucci can go.

 The line drop from -7 to -6' indicates to me he might play. Vegas seems to know this stuff before any of us do. Tough call in this game. Liberty is the better team but Delaware doesn't lose many at home (four losses in four years).

Rotowire says he's out.  It doesn't list him there on the main lineup page, but if you click on Braden Streeter, it describes how bad Street is and then mentions that Minicucci is out and estimated to return 10/13
