I also understand your parents passion for wanting there child to be happy in life ------ as long as that path is not about gambling or dancing around a pole. That being said, it is your life to live not your parents. This life you have apparently chosen takes a thick skin.

And the biggest bet of his life was a disaster. And I warned him well beforehand he had NO justification whatsoever to take the Kings.
And, give it enough time, there is no way this entire bankroll isn't going up in smoke.
So he goes 10-5 over he next 15. Then what?
Go 10-5 again? What if he goes 5-10 after that? What's the plan? Another 5k play?
