do you think that they moved the chicago line to 10.5 because of the brackson13 pick ? or are that many people tailing him it drove the line up a point either way good luck brackson13 i am a chicago bulls fan so i had to take them getting 10.5 its just alot of points, but i wouldnt be suprised if chicago lost by 15 plus being as tired of a team as they are right now

my coworkers tell me that when i get to work tomorrow, i'm going to be chastised for having a beer at lunch last week. one of my friends/peers was celebrating his birthday, and i was a nervous wreck awaiting the boston game to win $25k, and i am going to get a lecture about having A BEER at lunch because one of the people that decided not to have a beer told our manager. i'd love to hear from my folks in europe, canada, and other parts of the developed world, because i feel like this would be acceptable behavior pretty much anywhere else. sorry to get off-topic from the game tonight. trolling the threads and trying to take my mind off things for a bit before tip off.

acceptable behavior everywhere as far as I know

one beer is no big deal

in Europe, some places it's normal to drink beer and wine with your meals

@brackson13, I've had a beer at work too during lunchtime, because there was a big birthday gathering for one of our coworkers and I get really nervous and uneasy around big crowds, so I snuck back to my car and downed (Actually 2 beers) some and chewed alot of gum and everything was great.  Just do it in hiding and hide the breath, and nobody will ever know!!! LOL...but don't over do it and act weird or look drunk then your gonna blow it completely and lose your rep.

The only thing that sucks in Canada is that you can't buy beer at your local grocery store and you can't drink a beer while walking outside! grrr

I read not too long ago, a business group was out to lunch so a girl ordered an Arnold Palmer.... and then the next young intern ordered his drink, thinking the AP was an alcoholic drink, orders a whiskey ginger... it was 1030am, in front of some execs!

Rules are rules and beer is alcohol so that's a no-no in any work place. Other countries it would probably be accepted as they are less strict and they seem to be much more laid back
