These guys have been around for a long time so it's not their First Rodeo. As others have stated there are Insurance Policies in place for this and of course the revenue generated by the clicks is on the uptick.

Brackson-good luck bro-hopefully I can give you some advise-
I won a huge royal straight flush jackpot in Vegas when I was your age many years ago-got tons of people trying to give me advice and you won't need most of it.
I would consider a hedge for sure since something is always better than nothing-if you have investors, they need to know they're paying the taxes as well or screw them. They still benefit.
You of course can write off all loses in gambling against your winnings but don't bet extra for that reason.
You should not think you're spooked by the storm-why change your thinking-you could say maybe you would have lost too.
I'm sorry but not surprised you felt anxiety but I guarantee you made a ton of money for many who never knew you on 1/1 and even if you didn't, no question you never asked them to do it. Please do not feel any nervousness going forward-or see a therapist.
By the way, I took my winnings and bought good quality stocks after the 1987 crash and they did very well. Oil futures or Exxon might be a good idea by Spring as it ain't going below $30-35 and you can make more than you get now.

was starting to lean towards waiting as long as possible and taking utah since it looks like the line may move in boston's direction the rest of the way. fourth game in five days for boston, travel in between all, and this seems like the letdown spot for a young, mediocre team coming off several big games in a row. utah's been posted up at home getting their legs fresh. not sure i would have ultimately been confident enough to make it the pick for $100k.
