Had some extra time this morning to get all the rest of the day's picks out the way early.  Now to just relax and enjoy the tennis tennisball

    Li/Vekic o21.5 -122

    Stefanini/Paolini o21.5 -110

    Noskova & Muchova both 2-0 +134

    McNally +104

    Shnaider 2-0 -160

    Stephens +5.5 -110

    Ekat 2-0 -165

Going to throw a couple of small ML sprinkles on Sloane and Stefanini I think they both have a chance at winning outright.

5-4 yesterday 22-13 US Open.  Had some personal issues and didn't really even get to look at the matches much less post anything this morning. Just one play today - Coco and Ryba both get it done

    Coco 2-0 & Rybakina 2-0 +121

I know a lot of people are gonna be on Badosa today because she not only just gives Coco fits a lot, she has straight up beaten her with her style of play including the last 2/3 matches.  I remember watching the match in Berlin earlier this year and it was straight up classic Coco and beyond frustrating.  She started strong then lost her serve and just mentally collapsed.  She had something like 8% serve return rate, one of her strongest facets, in the 3rd set.  We're now back at home on a medium-fast hard court and in the last few weeks Coco has leveled up her game in most areas.  That loss in Berlin is certainly going to be in the back of her head after losing after winning set 1 6-1 and she will be locked in the moment the first ball is hit.

Rybakina is Rybakina.  I don't think JBM remotely stands a chance at all unless there is something I'm missing here. Actually surprised the -1.5 sets is only -200, might be worth a parlay with Zverev itself.

Worst day of the tourney for me by a mile let's get some of it back with the night games.

    Svitolina/Kalinskaya o20.5 -140

Dipping into the men's here because I've watched all of Ben's and Tiafoe's matches so far.  With how he's been playing I would not be surprised to see Tiafoe lose tonight and can easily see this turning into a 5 setter.  Vacherot has been pretty solid in his first two matches and is ready to battle.

    Ben -1.5 sets & Big Foe o3.5 sets +119

2-5 yesterday, 25-18 overall. Bad days are bound to happen. The gf wants a new car after this tournament so let's get back to winning

    Zheng/Keys o21.5 -128

If Zheng serves like she did in the third set last match this is going to be a long day for Maddy Keys.  She was lucky to get past Bondar and Zheng has been slowly coming into her top form over the course of this tournament starting in the qualis.  This very well could be an upset but I think we are going to see a tight match either way

    Coco 2-0 & Iga 2-0 -117

Marie has been solid this week but she has never even taken a set off Iga in the matches they have played.  Iga's seen a resurgence in form lately after a dip earlier in the year and is very much in contention to win the title.  If this were a couple months ago I'd say Marie has a chance but I'm not seeing it with the way Iga has been playing.  As for Coco, this is just an outclass and Bucsa's game shouldn't really bring much trouble.  Only concern here is that she said she had a cold after last match and we have seen several players struggle already with the weather conditions this tournament.  I was reading that Jpeg and Svajda also mentioned being a little sick so there seems to be something going around the American camp right now.  Still, even a 90% Coco should have no trouble cruising past Bucsa.

    Mirra/Bart o20.5 +105
Bartunkova has really impressed with her offense and strategy this tournament.  The way she handled Maria and her slices was quite clever and I 've had a lot of fun watching her matches.  Obviously Mirra is a heavy favorite here but I don't think it's going to be that straightforward especially with the way Bart has been serving.  This should be a really fun match to watch and I think there's a good chance it goes to 3 sets

    Iva/Alex o21.5 -135

Two besties playing each other but Iva has owned both their matches this year in straight sets - one on clay and one on grass. However, hard court is Alex's best surface and she's built up a ton of momentum since they last played.  It's worth mentioning that as well Iva is one of those players where the huge crowd for Alex is not going to phase her in the slightest. I am pretty high on Iva getting the hat trick win but the best play here is for a close match and the over

    Osaka ML & Rybakina 2-0 -134

No write up here, they both should get it done. Osaka has been shaky at times so far otherwise I'd take them both 2-0

    30-18

No play on the Saba/TT matchup I don't like the lines for what I see as the possible outcomes. Just gonna enjoy the show tennisball

Linda/Kostyuk should be a great match still deciding how I'm gonna play it, stay tuned!

We've got a rematch of the Wimbledon semifinals here and the third matchup of the year between these two.  The prior match was on clay (also a QF of a 1000 tourney) and Marta won in straight sets 7-6 6-0 and here we are now on hard court with both players in form and looking good.  I would say Linda had a tougher test in the last match vs Li than Marta did playing Ekat, but that was a complete dismantling by Kostyuk whereas Linda had to really fight for her win.  The thing I keep coming back to looking at this matchup is that while yes, she's getting it done and not really losing bad games, Linda has been giving up a ton of free points.  Part of that was not playing much since Wimbledon and adjusting to the courts here in NY but she really has to clean that up going into the second week of this tournament if she wants to have a chance at making a run here. On the other hand, Kostyuk has been fairly clean and hasn't really given her opponents those kind of openings.  Her level did dip a bit in that second set verse Ekat and she gave up an early break so it's not like she has been playing immaculate but overall has had a much better showing here.  This match is going to be entirely on Linda's racket she has the tools but she needs to be able to serve like she did in Wimbledon and not give free chances because Kostyuk will pounce on them.  All that said, Noskova has just had that clutch factor this year in big moments and it has been a real treat to watch. I think the play here is to buck the trend of the last two straight set matches and I see this going to 3 in a real battle.  If you want to play it safe, I'd parlay the o20.5 with Alcaraz -1.5 sets but I'm really high on these two putting on a show for us today.

Jpeg/Cirstea really depends on how sick Jess still is. I'll give her a pass for that last one because it really was played poorly overall and she was lucky to beat Fernandez. Her movement was really rough last match and Cirstea is absolutely gonna stretch the court out on her. They also just played in Cinci in a tough 3 set match a few weeks ago.  If Jess is healthy it's on her tho imo.

It will be a super close finish with Kostyuk winning 7-6 is my guess for the last set.
