@jurisairam
Probably not going to bet it but my lean would be Bencic. I have a hard time understanding why many of these top players have been unable to punish Eala's cupcake second serve recently. Makes no sense. The only thing I can imagine is maybe the awkward leftiness is just enough to keep some players from fully taking advantage.
If that is actually the case, then Bencic might be the best suited to take advantage. Her career win % is like ten points higher against lefties, she's won 9 or 10 in a row, and hasn't lost to a lefty in over 2 years. On top of that she just got done with a marathon against Townsend and I can't think of a better way to get reps against a lefty serve.
Also, Eala has to run out of gas eventually. She was a little hobbled with the foot against McNally. Pegula has played basically the same schedule and she finally tailed off in her last match.

Spot on, pretty close to what was going through my head evaluating this match

@mrnotoriousman
Yeah, I know it's a convincing argument because I said I wasn't playing it but I'm even having second thoughts now lol.
Having one of the best backhands in the sport is definitely an asset against a lefty and speaking of second serves, in the top 50 Bencic is second only to Iga in second return points won.

Damn I was out doing yard and garden work all day I lost track of time and missed this. I don't mess around much with doubles and forgot they started at 5

Not gonna drop many sets winning 80+% of service points. Only a single service game where they allowed their opponents past 15.
They are really on fire right now.
Next up either Mertens or Mihalikova who play each other tomorrow afternoon so we should hopefully have semifinal odds by tomorrow night. Would probably be able to get great 2-0 odds against Mertens/Shnaider but I actually think Mihalikova might have value at +285 or even money to win a set.
There's a play I like in the other semifinal match too but I need to work it a little more. Should get excellent 2-0 odds against either of those teams in the finals. Have seen no reason yet to believe Siniakova/Zhang will drop a set the whole way.

Extremely slow week for women's tennis. Not a single event 100 level or higher other than Canada and Cincy upcoming. Cincy quals start tomorrow and there look to be some bangers if the odds are what I expect. No odds yet though.

@Betfusion
Boom that's what I like to hear.
Usually I'm on the edge of my seat and pacing around the room when I have big stakes on these no-ad doubles matches. Things can go south in a hurry. But all three matches this week have been sooooo clean. Barely any doubt. They haven't gone down a break and have been able to go up a break pretty early in every single set.
They've really come through big time for us this week. Definitely helps having Zhang instead of Townsend because we wouldn't get these prices with the "A" team. But Zhang is still a great doubles player and they just mesh well. Zhang is always so upbeat keeping Siniakova out of the mud.

Would love to find somewhere where I could get a US Open future down on Siniakova/Townsend. Townsend especially will be wanting that one bad. It's the only major they haven't won together. And they're undefeated in the USA this year having already won the Sunshine Double.

I looked several days ago for Toronto and us open doubles futures and could not find any..and I have a lot of books

on another note, caesers seems to have the softest lines for whatever reason, but they are quick to limit betting

Extremely frustrating here from Alex. Of course she comes in as an underdog and plays lights out first set. Had me wondering if Elina was even going to have a chance. BUT once Alex gets out in front and is actually the favorite she implodes and gets bageled second set. All she needed to do was literally anything but get bageled.
Then at the end a miracle-- Svit gets broken. But if course hope was instantly smashed when Alex gets broken to love next game. Ugh
Side note, Svitolina has now served for the match SIX times in this tournament. TWICE she has held and FOUR times she has been broken. That's certainly a concern.

Taking a little break from betting but I love your insight bringit! Keep up the great work.
After I missed out on Taylor Townsend bet at plus 180 I tilted and the dodgers 6 game losing streak put me back to taking a break.
Just wanted to thank you .

Yeah wish I would've been on the other side of that Dodgers streak. Hopefully we get some more good Townsend opportunities coming up in Cincy. They gave her a wildcard so she's already in the main draw. It was unfortunate for her to run into Bencic in Toronto with how dominant Belinda has been against lefties. Certainly gave her a run for her money though.

Eala gets the tar beaten out of her by underachieveving Bencic and then she retires against Coco to avoid the same fate...what a moron...only in the wta...

@Uman
That is kind of crazy. You would think if she had to pull out it would've been after the Townsend match, not the smooth sailing Eala match.
