I like this play. Dasha is more than capable on grass and she won the title here two years ago. And there's no question that Cart is physically compromised with her back.

Looking at early action in Bad Homburg there's no reason why the Tauson fade shouldn't be in play until she proves otherwise. Clara hasn't won since March at Indian Wells and the losing streak now sits at 7 matches. Tank took home the title here two years ago so she definitely knows her way around these courts. The line is a little wide but I would feel confident either taking her to win 2-0 or putting the ML in a parlay.
Back in Eastbourne I think that Snigur is a far superior grass player than her compatriot Kalinina. To add to that Kalinina hasn't played a main draw match on grass since Wimbledon 2024. Another wide line but would pair nicely with Tank at +120. I would expect this match to be a little bit closer so if you're looking to play this match alone instead I would get creative with something like Snigur ML & Kalinina +6.5 (+103).

For me the match of the day is probably Maya Joint against Emiliana Arango.
Joint won the title here last year which helped boost her ranking which stands at 53 entering the week. But the teen has had an atrocious year so far this year losing 12 of her last 13 with a 3-14 record on the year. Now she gets the added pressure of defending title points as her ranking plummets into the 80s with those points falling off.
Arango has never found much footing on grass but she has had a couple nice qualifying wins here. Against Alycia Parks I thought looked nice as she played more aggressively than we're used to seeing from her instead of relying solely on defense and athleticism. Often we think about how the speed of grass helps to accentuate the power of the big hitters and that's true. But it can also really benefit players with a power deficit like Arango. With the added surface speed she is able to go for more angles that she would not be able to on clay because her opponent would be able to easily track it down and make her pay. But with the same shot on grass she is able to hit through her opponent.
Joint is elite at redirecting pace and that is an integral part of her game and a big reason she was able to make the title run here despite having limited experience on the surface previously. When she is forced to generate her own pace, as she will have to against Arango, it very often leads to errors especially as the match goes on and doing so becomes more laborious.
I actually think Joint would've been better off had she drawn a better player with traditional power like Kessler. Arango is a bad matchup for her while she's in horrible form and facing enormous pressure.
Arango +137

Few other quick thoughts in case I don't get around to them:
Jovic line is way to wide against Wang. Avoid or consider Wang
Sierra is very much a live dog. She often struggles to close out matches though so a spread for insurance might be better option if you back her. Not completely sold yet myself
Eala is tempting against Mertens but she's been strapped up and has probably played more grass matches than anybody. She's found her form and has nothing left to prove so maybe her sights are already set on Wimbledon. Avoid

Something to think about
If you do not want to play Kasat ML completely understand she drives me crazy too, there is something that has developed a pattern. ![]()

At the beginning of the year if you told me I'd be taking Arango to smoke the Joint on GRASS I'd think you must be high
