Alicia Dudeney
British player who made some nice runs at Junior Wimbledon, so she's pretty comfortable on grass. She was a highly touted prospect who went on to play four years for the Gators. She was among the top players in the country early in her college career, but some unfortunate injuries made her time at the NCAA level somewhat of an up-and-down affair.
Because of the injuries, she did not play in very many professional tournaments while she was at Florida. Last year was her final college season, so now, at the age of 22 or 23, she is trying to get her professional career off the ground, à la former Gator McCartney Kessler.
She did well to get herself into the 200s and has been given the opportunity to really make a splash by being handed wildcards to these British tournaments, including Wimbledon.
So far, results have been mixed, but she has shown she can hang with the big girls. Most notably, the win over Putintseva and a tight loss to Yastremska, which was impressive because Yastremska was really peaking. She also took a very in-form Krueger to three sets (Ashlyn has won 19 of 24 sets on grass this year) and has mostly just struggled to put together back-to-back wins at this level.
Imo she's very much live against JBM, and she will be highly motivated to try to make the most of this wildcard opportunity. I love the prospect of taking a home darling against a volatile player like JBM too. If she plays as well as she did in the three matches I mentioned above, she should win.

Thank you, Lord B.
Alright guys get your scratchpad out and write her down along with the Over as possibilities. Keep an eye on a couple different markets to watch public perception. Would not advise to fire just yet but have it in your hopper.
There is a match that is right up Lord B's alley. Stallion vs Tatiana let's let him handle that one, no interest to work that match.

Another thing let's shallow our pride/ ego whatever word applies best to you at the door. We are all trying to accomplish one thing to beat the book. It should not matter who came up with the play, where it came from, etc....Ultimately all that matters is to be on the right side. Lord B and I are working over night to try to put everyone in the best winning situation possible. We are really close to having a well-oiled machine, still a work in progress but we both agree everyone's future is bright. The best things you can do to help me is do anything you can to keep my anxiety down. We know you guys are anxious too but some of your posts create doubt, refrain from creating doubt, because in this game we play confidence a hugeeeee factor.

I wouldn't touch the Paolini match but will be watching closely to see how her foot is holding up. If she's healthy enough you would think she would want to get some grass match wins under her belt to build confidence. She usually takes a week or two off after Roland Garros so it's not completely abnormal for her to be starting the grass swing this late but she was slated to appear in Berlin but she withdrew which means the injury concerns have to remain a factor for us. But definitely a player to watch because we could find some value on either side of her at Wimbledon depending on how that little foot is feeling.
If her movement is not better tomorrow after nearly a month of rest I definitely wouldn't expect it to be any better next week so we'll see. Maria will definitely get her on the move so it should be a good litmus test.

Dallas has been pretty hot and Seattle the exact opposite.
On Saturday Dallas was down 14 going into the 4th and down 6 with 35 seconds to go. Then a quick 5 point possession and another basket and they win it.
