Your right, she hasn't done jack shit since her 2021 AO open win.  She had a kid and her mind and body drifted away from the game.  Still, she's only 27 years old and a 4-time major championship winner who has been showing signs of regaining her form this season.  Gauff just fired her coach before the US Open and hired a biomechanics coach to fix her serve.  Her double faults and forehand error rate are at a much higher clip than normal.  Should be a good match.

Bublik playing out of his mind right now.  I believe he hasn't dropped a service game all tournament?  I think he can win the 1st or 2nd set before Sinner cracks him.  If Sinner is off his game, Bublik can win this.  Shapovalov pushed Sinner for 1.5 sets and I think Bublik can do better.

Yeah Osaka even went more a year without winning a single match! Not even one! What a joke! Sure, she had a kid but how many years did Novak go without winning a match when he had kids? Zero! So no excuses there!

Wow Marketa withdrew

Vandrousava WO.  She was my POD.  Djoker is getting hit hard.  Fritz up to +170.  We’ll see.  We have to guys going in opposite directions in their career.  Fritz has taken his game to the next level this season and Djoker has been on a steady decline the past few years with the most notable this year.  He really hasn’t been the same since he took down Carlos in the AO.  We’ll see how much he has left in the tank.
