Don't like em', don't play em'. Nobody's forcing you so what's the point? People are in this forum to make a little money. I did so with chasing last year to a six figure tune. Can't convince me it doesn't work. I know otherwise.

The point is that some poor schleps will read your "system" and believe it's gold. I seriously doubt you made 6 figures betting on baseball last year. This same method is applied to blackjack and other such 50/50 props. The problem is that at some point the bubble will burst and you end up losing huge. At some point you will reach your books limit(just like the table limit on a bj table) and cannot keep chasing. That being said I'll keep playing my closest to Detroit system and we'll see how that turns out.. GL to all!

I'm not actually chasing, I tried to find the most ridiculous thing I could come up with to track. I'm not actually betting the Detroit thing, I'm trying to show that if you double up on anything up to 6 times it will work, SHORT TERM, eventually it will crash down. If chasing worked every book in the world would be bankrupt.

First of all, I think that most individuals in these forums are smart enough to figure out that loses will occur. It's a matter of how you manage those loses going forward. Nothing is gold.
Secondly, I don't really care if you think I made six figures or not. I'm not asking for your support or acknowledgement of the fact. I don't speak of my personal profit because I personally don't think it's very appropriate to do so. But that's my opinion.
Third, a true 50/50 system will eventually burst, you are correct, however, most of these systems are not a true 50/50 prop such as Blackjack or Roulette (playing black or red, odd or even). There is an element of weight that factors in an advantage to one side or another. I play another system that is perfect this season as well. I do not post those plays because the system is very personal to a small group of individuals that have allowed me to have access to based upon my signing a disclosure agreement. But the system is proven back ten years to be weighed to a specific advantage. Definitely worth the short chase it takes to make a profit.
As far as reaching the book's limit, well.... I believe that there are multiple books to play at. At least last time I checked there were. I'm a hop, skip, and a jump from Vegas. Last time I checked there were plenty of books there to spread your money around.
I somewhat respect your viewpoints, would be stronger if you hadn't added the sarcasm at the end with the bogus system, however, It would be greatly appreciated if you would start your own thread to track your plays and stay out of mine please.
